This place was just what I hoped for - quaint, local, beautiful, quiet, picturesque - and yet clean and very comfortable. The location atop the hill above town is ideal for those looking for beautiful views of the mountains and the town. The owners were extremely kind and helpful.

Tough walk to location directly under the Chateau. Easy drive but dedicated walk. Hospitality over dinner fabulous. Gnocchi in butter and sage… mmmm! Comfy bed and spectacular night showing if castle to go to sleep to. Glad we made the effort!

Our second stay here and we have loved it both times. Room is very comfortable and spacious, the view is beautiful, and breakfast in the morning starts our day well.

The long unrelenting climb up after a days walking is challenging. The adjoining restaurant is closed on a Sunday night which means a walk back down the hill. Breakfast is in a busy cafe in the Main Street.

If you are walking the Via Francigena you need to walk up a big hill to get to the B&B. Also it us a little hard to find.

Nice comfortable room and very quiet. Host was excellent and was outgoing. She even managed to get the restaurant next door opened for us. Definitely recommended.

My partner didn't like the breakfast as much as everything was sweet and she preferred a savoury early meal. There is the option to ask for change but it needs to be done a day in advance!

I loved the area and the room we stayed in, the view of the castle is lovely and within 5min you can walk to it. I liked the breakfast too.

The property is located up a very steep hill, and the restaurant is not open in the evening. We were walking the Via Francigena and therefore did not have a car. If you want to have dinner, you need to walk about a kilometer back down the hill to find a restaurant, and then walk back up the hill at night.

The property was very nice. The room was nicely appointed, and the bathroom was beautiful. The view from the windows was beautiful. The breakfast was fair.

I loved the setting right beside the castle. Yes, it's another hill to climb on the Via Francigena, but well worth it. Tale route no. 4 from the back of the cental piazza and that is a fairly short route that leaves you right at the guesthouse. Fantastic communication with owners. They were so helpful and answered my messages quickly and facilitated my requests regarding food. The room was beautiful with an outlook onto trees and gardens and a verandah with chairs and table. It is really quiet and very relaxing with birdsong. The bed was comfortable andI had a great night's sleep. Everything iwas excellent and as I said, we'll worth the extra effort to get there.

We were on foot and Google maps directed us up the road to Le Drit. It would have been much easier if we knew the shorter way to get there.

The very comfortable large room had magnificent views. The bathroom was also extra large and recently very tastefully renovated.

Because we were walking, no car, the location was challenging for us.

They opened the restaurant for us and we had a great me after a long day of walking, the via Francigena.
