How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
Guidelines and standards for Reviews

Place is OK for a very short stay but it's located at the end of the runway and gets very loud during the takeoffs.
Very close to the airport (about 10-15 min walk from the terminal) Perfect for a one night stay before the morning flight.

At 2 am it seemed like a long walk...
I only stayed for a few hours because of a delay of my plane. But the place is really super and had everything I needed. Even free coffee in the morning which was so much appresiated!

Unfortunately, there were also negative aspects. Firstly, the step at the entrance to the room, it should be additionally marked otherwise you can get hurt. The mattress on one of the beds was terrible, it fell through somewhere. We spent only one night there, but even that was very inconvenient. The electric kettle in the room does not work. There is no soundproofing, you can hear every movement of the neighbors in the house.
The hotel is a 30-minute walk from Bergamo Airport. We were sent all the check-in instructions, as well as a map of how to get to the hotel. This is very useful, because Google Maps shows another, longer and more inconvenient route. Contactless check-in went quickly and without problems. The room is spacious, large bathroom. The room is clean. In the lobby there is a machine where you can buy drinks and snacks. A couple of minutes' walk away there are small shops, a wonderful pizzeria and interesting buildings: a church, a museum. It was nice to walk there. In general, we really liked the hotel and we would gladly stay there again if all the shortcomings indicated are eliminated.

No fridge in the room, this can be a problem in 37 degrees weather. Sometimes there was a weird smell from plumbing and from people smoking int the window, even though the rooms are no smoking.
The location is excellent, close to the airport and bus station. Friendly staff.

The vending machine didn’t accept card

Sliding door access to our room. Only suitable for a one-night stay.

There isn’t much there. Vending machine to buy bottles of water which aren’t cold and more or less warm.
The property is approximately a 40 min walk to Bergamo airport - it’s really handy for earlier flights!

do not call the taxi company that is displayed there. They came from Bergamo, and they turned on the Bergamo taxi machine, coming already with 28 euros to pay, even though we only wanted to go to the airport

Sliding doors are a bit too loud and really hard to lock, which makes it difficult to maintain the silence during the night - especially since a lot of guests arrive at early hours.
Close to the airport - took us about 25 minutes from the airport exit. Convenient for late flights and one night stays.

Not the properties fault but a couple of taxi drivers refused to pick us up. The walk to the property (25mins) was through a couple of car parks and a deserted industrial estate. Not great in the dark but still safe. Still, this is a really convenient localcation
No hassle gaining entry after hours, Good communication with the host and clean comfortable beds. Good location next to the airport after a later arrival. (1am. ) Little bit of aircraft noise in the morning but this is an airport hotel.

Very very basic but it was clean. Everything you need for a 1 night stay over before heading on with your trip. Walk was a little scary at 2am from airport to the hotel but I didn’t feel unsafe it was all street lit.
Room was completely black out when you switched the lights off. Air con was great and easy to use at no extra charge.

Easy to reach: 20 mins of walk from Bergamo airport. Easy to access. It was quiet and silent during the night. Vending machine available.
