Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

ItalyEverything was perfect!
Perfect countryside location, very peaceful and strategically positioned close to Garda lake, the beautiful cities of Mantova, Verona and other touristic attractions. The house is stunning! Room and communal areas are decorated with endless taste and attention to details. Extremely clean, super comfy bed and despite the hot weather outside the thickness of the external walls, keeps the indoor temperature cool so we didn't even need to turn on the air con. Garden and smimming pool area are even better than what you see in the pictures! So relaxing and beautifully kept that I would have stayed there forever!! Host is nice and friendly. Breakfast is good and well balanced. A really lovely stay, highly recommended!

We loved staying here, Monica is such a pleasant host and the house and garden are clearly well taken care of. Breakfast was excellent and varied, our room was big and comfortable. Location is quiet and close enough to other cities so we could go exploring. Definitely recommend it!

IsraelMonica is a great and welcoming host. Felt really at home. The pool was wonderful, air-conditioning in each room was very appreciated. Away from all hustle and bustle of Garda Lake, but close enough to all major attractions of the area.

LatviaThe property is in agricultural area, so there was "specific" agricultural smell in the air, but we got used to it very fast and didn't notice it after few hours.
The host was great - she took a good care of us and gave us many suggestions about what to see in the area. Clean, quiet, perfectly maintained property. The hosts are living in the same house and it is full of small historical and interesting details. There was large and perfectly clean pool where we spend great afternoon. There is also outside shower. There were few dogs of which our daughter was very fond of. We went to Gardaland and it only took 15 minutes to get there. Safe parking behind closed door. There was fridge in common space where we kept our fresh products.

MoldovaThat we stayed only two days and that during April we could not try the pool from the garden :).
Near Laco di Garda there are a lot of B&E and hotels, but I am so happy I've chosen this place. The host, the location, the house, the garden, the vineyard near the entrance is amazing. Monica is a great and very pleasant host, speaks good English and welcomed us with a glass of white wine in the amazing patio at the entrance (photo attached). She also gave us really good recommendations for places to eat, to see, to visit and where to buy some good bottles of locally produced wine :). By the way the ruins you see in the photo is the initial state of the house that the family bought quite a while ago and how they transformed this place is amazing - you can see and feel the good taste, love, time and attention to details invested in every cm of the house and garden. I really dreamed of having a breakfast outside in that beautiful garden, under the amazingly blossomed glicine and with a superb view to green valleys - luckily the good weather and Monica made it possible (thank you again for this). Besides the view the breakfast itself was varied and nicely served; Monica even served a homemade cake, and we took some pieces take away with us when leaving :). Another bonus is the so friendly two dogs - my son fell in love with them and played. He also loved sleeping in his bed with a window view. I will agree with other guests that this B&B looks better in reality than in posted pictures and I confirmed it to Monica, but she smiled and said that she do not update those on purpose, because she preferred people to be nicely surprised when arriving. Sorry Monica if my photos attached will change this :)

FranceA few remarks: I did not like the quality of the bed linen. There was no real duvet (only blankets were available). Also Very flat pillows. There is not enough lighting in the room. The towels in the bathroom are of poor quality and have a strange smell. When we left, we locked the room with a key, but upon returning we found that the room had been cleaned. Apparently it's our mistake that we didn't say that we don't need cleaning. (There is no "do not disturb" sign.). There is also no kettle in the room, no refrigerator, no bottle of water. There is a cowshed 50m away, and there is a specific smell of manure.
The owner- Monica was really helpful and nice. She helped us with the purchase of tickets to Gardaland at a very pleasant price. Breakfast consisted of sliced ham and cheese, thinly sliced boiled egg, sliced tomato in olive oil, sweet yogurt, pickled juice, tea/coffee; nuts, jams, butter and bread toasts. At the request of our son, Monica made fried eggs. Monica recommended a very good restaurant for dinner 9 km away.
