Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

United StatesThere wasn’t anything we didn’t like; if anything, we wish we could have stayed longer to enjoy more of the property and surroundings.
We spent three wonderful nights at Agriturismo Villa di Campolungo in Fiesole and couldn’t have been happier. The food was excellent—fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented—and the breakfasts were a perfect start to each day. The location offered a peaceful countryside feel while still being close enough to easily explore Fiesole and Florence. Our room was very comfortable, and we quickly felt at home thanks to the spacious grounds and the warm, attentive, and friendly host.

SerbiaWe had an amazing time here! Tucked between the olive trees, this place provides an authentic experience of the rural Tuscan life. After a good nights’ sleep on the most comfortable bed, we enjoyed the breath-taking views on the surrounding. The breakfast was exceptional, and offered a variety of freshly-prepared, home-made food. The host is very hospitable and professional, and she gave us a lot of useful tips on visiting Fiesole and Florence.

AustraliaThe narrow road to get there was a challenge but doable. The dog roaming around would be an issue for anyone scared of dogs.
The cooking class with Silvia was lots of fun (though pricey) and the food was delicious. We got to eat it outside with a beautiful view. The breakfast was also great with yummy cheese, meats, homemade jams, muesli and bread.

United StatesThe only frustration we experienced at Silvia‘s was the cumbersome old lock on the huge original wooden door. We finally had it figured out towards the end of our stay, but it was a steep learning curve!
We loved most everything about our stay. The room we stayed in was exceptionally large and beautifully furnished. It was extremely comfortable for just two of us and we enjoyed the airiness in the private balcony as well. The breakfast was delicious, home baked and provided plenty of local cheeses and meats. We really enjoyed trying all of Silvia‘s delicious jams and spreads. We enjoyed the remote location of the Agriturismo, But it may not be for everyone. You definitely need a car to get around the countryside and go into Fiesole and the train station to Florence.

Our stay in Villa di Campolungo was definitely the highlight of our trip in Tuscany. A magnificent villa with attention given in every detail, a couple of lovely hosts who provided us with all necessary information. The villa is located in a lovely garden just 30 min from the centre of Florence. Directions given were very helpful in order to easily find the place. A car is necessary. Not to forget also the excellent breakfast prepared with care by our hosts, composed of ingredients of the farm. Overall, an experience that surely surpassed our expectations.

United KingdomEven better if the breakfast had been included, rather than the additional payment of 12 euros per day. Utterly delicious offering and improved only if I had the option of a little pot of coffee so that I didn’t have to bother Sylvia for a refill. The road up can be a little challenging on a little car so just check you go the best route.
This is an incredibly beautiful, tranquil and exceptionally appointed place to stay. Exceeded my expectations and just the relax I needed. Don’t hesitate to book. I will definitely go again as loved my 2 nights there. Just wish I’d stayed longer! Sylvia was wonderful, fabulous cook with breakfast all freshly made. It was superb. Sylvia so knowledgeable about the area and olives!

United StatesSINCE I HAVE EXCEEDED THE ALLOWED CHARACTER LIMIT IN THE SPACE FOR DESIGNATED FOR WRITING ABOUT "WHAT DID YOU LIKE?" - I AM USING THIS SPACE TO FINISH WRITING MY POSITVE COMMENTS: Eric and Silvia are exceptionally helpful hosts who are dedicated to the quality of the experiences of their guests. On our departure, we purchased several of the products of the farm, including olive oil, and soaps. As a final huge favor, Eric gave us a ride to the train station in Caldine. He made sure we had the right tickets, and literally walked us to the platform. We can’t thank Eric and Silvia enough. And we highly recommend renting a car, and spending a few days at Agriturismo Villa Di Campolungo.
I will say up front that when booking this stay, I should have realized how important having a car would be to enjoying this wonderful property. Although it is not far from Florence, it is also not within a comfortable walk to the nearest bus stop. And taxis, as we found out, are not keen to drive up the unpaved road which serves as a long driveway to this picturesque estate. Now, with that advisory out of the way . . . By the time we finally got a taxi in busy Florence, we arrived at the Agriturismo in the late afternoon - early evening, and our hostess Silvia, surprised we got there without our own car, asked if we had eaten yet. When she heard we hadn’t had time, she offered to make us each a plate, which is exceptional since they are accustomed to provide breakfast, but do not have dinner menu. So we were treated to a delicious light supper on the patio with a beautiful sunset view of the Tuscan countryside. Our room was so spacious and comfortable, we thought we were in a place out of our range. The next day, after a tasty breakfast of local cheeses, home-made breads, cakes, and jams, Silvia gave us a ride to the bus stop so we could visit and explore the nearby town of Fiesole. After exploring the village for a while, we decided we were so close to Florence, we had to take a taxi back and visit there one more time. Later that evening, we caught a cab back to the villa. On our final final morning there, we met Silvia’s husband Eric, who told us more about the property. Not only is Agriturismo Villa Di Campolungo a wonderful rural Tuscan bed and breakfast, but a successful working Olive Farm. In fact, they were preparing for the annual harvest in just a couple days. Eric told us about the uniquely high anti-oxidant content in their olive oil owing to the short time duration between harvest and processing.

This property is superb. Everything about it is on point. Silvia’s attention to detail is evident at every turn. My room was extremely clean & the bed so comfortable. I have been travelling for almost 9 weeks & the peace & serenity was welcome. The breakfast was delicious with an wide selection of local & homemade produce, served with care & obvious pride in what the local area produces. Bellissimo! I was also lucky enough to observe the beginning of olive harvest which produces the most delicious olive oil I have EVER tasted. I loved my 3 night stay, in that time I was able to explore the local area & was close enough to drive into Florence. I would most certainly return & encourage others to immerse themselves in a peaceful Tuscan experience. Absolutely 5 star.

It was exactly what we were looking for. The property was beautiful, clean and close to everything. It is only 15 minutes by car to Florence. It’s about 20 to get to the heart of the downtown. I would definitely rent a car if you are staying here. We rented our car next to the train station and it was easy to roll our luggage from the terminal and we were on our way in 30 minutes. The rooms are decorated beautifully keeping the history while providing luxurious comforts. Our bed was comfortable and big. The bathroom is large and had plenty of room for us. It was perfect. Upon arrival we were greeted with a history lesson of the property and the town of Fiesole. We were given a tour of the property and the significance of the road it is on. The owners are extremely welcoming and helped us with where to park when visiting the sites of Florence as well as the surrounding areas. They provide a delicious breakfast every morning with only food from the Agriturismo and the surrounding areas. They make their own olive oil and it was the best we tasted in Europe. My wife and I took a cooking class and it was the highlight of our trip. Silvia is amazing and made the class unforgettable. We made potato raviolis, fettuccine with zucchini. We highly recommend staying here.
