It was blissful to come back after a day out to lounge around and dip in that beautiful pool! It was a treat to stay there. Got lots of great tips on where to eat, where to park, and places to see from our hosts.

Everything about this place :) We had such a pleasant 10 days stay in this Hotel. Really amazing experience...the host and all the employee made us really feel like at home. General vibe of this place, its people, location (we were there with our own car), cats...one day we'll come back again to your place, that's for sure. Lovely quiet oasis in an olive orchard, just outside Alghero. The room was clean, the bed comfortable and the owners friendly and helpful. The pool was the perfect temperature to cool off after our hikes and a peaceful place to hang out and read.

There wasn’t anything in particular not to be liked. The property has a good value for money.

Country Hotel Vessus is situated in the middle on a beautiful olive tree garden. One can be immersed into relaxation and tranquility while staying there. The breakfast is a decent, continental one. Even if the location is in the outskirts of Alghero, it is only 10 minutes drive/30-40 minutes walk to the city center. Not all personnel speak English, however we managed to understand each other conveniently. The room is big enough

The room was spacious, well equipped, and clean. Breakfast was varied and plentiful. The host gave us a map, directions to places nearby, and a list of local restaurants to try. The hotel is within easy reach of Alghero by car, but a fair walk on foot. Parking in the main town car park on the seafront was simple, cheap, and made the walk into the old town simple.

The Internet in our room did not work. we were there for 4 nights and we didnt have it until our last day. they told us they couldn't call the internet service provider until Monday. Once they called they reset it and it worked but not having tif or 3 days cost us $100 in data fees we had to pay for becasue we couldn't get on wifi The person who was in charge didn't;t know anything about their system and couldn't even reboot it. once they got it working it was great.

Pool was big and clean, a little cool. breakfast was OK, eggs were scrambled and watery, lots of fruit , granola, yogurt, cold cuts, breads, cakes, juices, coffee. everything was great except for the eggs. Eggs are so easy to make, so making bad eggs really must be difficult. LOL. how did they manage that. but everything else was good

Not much. Maybe if they served dinner but there are so many fantastic options not far away in the town. Some people may prefer not to drive in as parking can be a challenge. But this hotel offers many other advantages including ample secure parking.

Vessus is a pretty peaceful oasis just six minutes from Alghero. Set in a large olive farm, the grounds are lush, the pool clean and not overcrowded. Daily breakfast served cheerfully by Gisela, Georgio and Marina includes fresh eggs, hot and cold meats, cheeses, croissants, fruit and cakes. It is home to several cute cats. Roons are spacious, with balconies overlooking the garden and bare fridge. This hotel is very well run and we wish we could have stayed longer than 3 nights. Highly recommended.

Nothing. Just one point, the hotel isn't walkable to town (about 45 mins). We loved that about it as it felt like an oasis away from the busy town.

The setting was beautiful, delicious breakfast, lovely pool. The staff were helpful and friendly. We loved our stay and wish we could have stayed longer.

Country Hotel Vessus is an oasis of calm just a few minutes drive from Alghero. The setting is beautiful, the pool area tranquil, the adjacent private parking area vast and the owners and staff are all delightful people. Our room was lovely, spotlessly clean and with all facilities as stated. Thank you for the wonderful few days.

Slightly out in the sticks but it really isn’t too far if you’re happy to walk or get a car

The bed was a little too firm for us and you could feel the plastic from some of the buttons through the sheets. Probably due for an upgrade or a mattress topper.

We stayed here for 3 nights at the end of season and, although the owners and usual staff were away during our visit, we were made to feel very welcome for the duration of our stay. We appreciated the local recommendations on places to eat and things to do as well as all of the information that was shared and our friendly greeting at breakfast each morning. The breakfast was lovely with a choice of local meats and cheeses, bread, sweet treats, cereals, fruit and yogurts - we left well fed each day. We chose the property for the location as you can (safely) walk into the centre (circa 40minutes to old town) or drive (10 minutes) and for the setting in the olive grove, which was lovely and peaceful with lots of bird song. We appreciated the table and chairs outside of the room so we could sit out on an evening after dinner - they also had a space to dry clothes / swimwear in the garden and you could borrow umbrellas for the beach, which was nice touch. The pool area is lovely and the loungers comfortable although during our visit the water was just a bit too cold to enjoy fully and there were lots of mosquitoes so we didn't sit out for too long (obviously not the fault of the hotel). Room very clean and quiet.

It was very pleasant stay! Hotel is located in stunning area (olive's garden), unfortunately better accessible by car from Alghero center. Room was very clean and has interesting design. We're very recommended delicious breakfast with only fresh ingredients! We will definitely come back someday!
