Beautiful Agriturismo in Italy. The location is picturesque and the grounds of the property beautiful, the swimming pool area was an absolute highlight it’s very big with plenty of seating areas. The room was larger and very clean, traditional decor and very comfortable. The breakfast was delicious with so much variety and fresh coffees made to perfection. The morning visit of the donkeys was special.

Visiting Tuscany had been my dream for years, and when the chance suddenly came I had little time to plan. All I knew was that I wanted to stay in the heart of this magical land. Fate led me to Agriturismo La Selvella near Radicofani, tucked into the Val d’Orcia hills. It was easy to find with Google or Apple Maps, and there was plenty of free parking. From the moment we arrived, Marina and her team made us feel like family. They even upgraded us to a larger apartment at no extra cost—rustic yet elegant, spotlessly clean and cool against the summer heat. Evenings on our private terrace under the cypresses, watching the Tuscan sun dissolve into the hills, felt like personal blessings. La Selvella is a haven of peace and beauty, especially for families. The pool’s crystalline water invites lazy afternoons, and there’s a little soccer field, table tennis, hammocks, swings and friendly farm animals. Marina’s affectionate dogs roam happily too. Meals celebrate the land: organic produce from their gardens, and the house wine is wonderful. We left with bottles of their olive oil and hand‑picked herb teas. I appreciated their commitment to sustainability—there are electric‑vehicle charging stations right in the parking lot. In just three days this place wove itself into my heart. Its tranquil setting and warm hospitality make it a perfect base for exploring Siena, my beloved Pienza, Montepulciano and more. It was hard to leave. I’m deeply grateful to Marina and her wonderful team, and I suggest booking via La Selvella’s website so you can see photos and learn about the place. If you long for a serene refuge in the heart of Tuscany, this is a dream come true.

Nothing really. It might be good to bring some mosquito repellent (at dusk) if you are sensitive to mosquito bites (mosquitoes are everywhere in Tuscany)

Beautiful and well maintained, kidfriendly agriturismo. Marina and staff were always welcoming, friendly and helpful. We and our children (1 and 3 years old) had the best time. We especially enjoyed the beautiful pool, loved to see all the animals at the farm and staff were always sweet to our kids (our eldest was particularly fond of Giuseppe). Breakfast and Tuscan dinner were exceptional. Would love to come back here!

Everything was absolutely perfect, except for one thing and that was the small bed my friend was on. The mattress was more like a trampoline, extremely soft and very springy. Otherwise everything was really perfect, especially the breakfast. The staff was nice and helpful with everything.

The food was amazing, a different set menu each night for dinner made from local ingredients in a cosy, friendly restaurant was a lovely experience. The breakfast buffet was by far the best I have had anywhere, with so much choice and beautiful ingredients. The grounds around the accommodation and pool area were also stunning.

There was nothing I did not like.

The location had stunning views. The accommodation was superb. Rustic Tuscan style with all modern facilities. We wanted for nothing. The staff were so helpful, friendly and obliging. I great place to stay, especially if you have a car. We were walking the Via Francigena. The breakfast was bountiful and had so many choices. My favourite place we stayed on our six day trip. Luxury meets farming. I would definitely stay here again.

A beautiful place in Tuscany, highly recommended! We stayed for 2 nights in a cozy small flat that was equipped with everything and was clean and quiet. The whole property is picturesque and the surroundings are such a good view to look at. We enjoyed our stay and the exceptional breakfast that offers so many options including local delicacies. The staff is friendly and shared many tips for the area with us. We will be back.

Place is easily located on the map and easily reached. Has a gate at the front for extra security for the property which gives extra privacy at the place. Staff are super friendly and took us around the place for a quick tour even on a rainy day! They really have love for their place. The room was huge with all the facilities including a full kitchen, bathroom was clean and bed was amazingly comfortable. Breakfast was all from their garden which were fantastic. If you are passing by or looking for a great place to getaway, this would be the best place to be!

Everything. The location is perfect. Selvella is beautifully restored and the rooms are to an excellent standard. The very best part are the wonderful staff and the exceptional food and wine. Definitely book dinner, it really is outstanding.

The location, the food, THE WINE... This was such an incredible find. If you're looking for that authentic Italian countryside experience, then look no further. Go full board and enjoy the amazing food they offer. It felt like a completely different world staying there. Truly beautiful. Also drink the house red it's just as delicious as any Brunello
