Everything was perfect

Agriturismo Santa Margherita is the best option for those are looking for great Italian vibe. We had the room with amazing sea view and also to the restaurant terrace so after dinner we enjoyed terrace energy especially on Monday at fish night with great Italian live music. We were impressed by great food, and the homemade wine, one of the best. The staff very carefully, we've never missed anything, and when asked for something they responded instantly. This is the kind of place you fell like coming back. Thank you!

Heads up that you need to wear a cap in the pool, as we were unaware of this until we went to swim. We stayed in the Bungalow, the double bed mattress was very worn out, sagging in the middle.

The breakfast was abundant and variety of sweet and savoury food, juices and coffee. The views are breathtaking, day and night spectacular views. Dinner was a set menu, we did not have the option to chose a-la-cart. What bothered us a bit is that we had to decide whether to eat dinner their or not in the morning without knowing what the menu was. The set menu was revealed once we sat down for dinner. Having said that, we were always satisfied with the 'surprise' menu as it was delicious :) The staff were always ready to help and friendly. Plenty of parking space.

Agriturismo is advertised as a farm, and there were indeed animals kept on the property. However, the conditions the animals are kept in is appalling. A solitary horse lived on a hillside, weed infested scap of land at a 45 degree angle. There was one pig in a concrete shelter with no straw and hardly any light. One goose lived in a cage that it couldn't turn around in and looked so sad' The only animals that seemed to be well looked after were the goats. there were other animals but after seeing how poor conditions were for most we didn't go any further.

The breakfast was very good indeed with plenty of choice at the buffet table. There was always 2 or 3 types of croissant, lots of cakes and a good selection of fruit & juice. Dinner was good and you were encouraged to have the set menu only. The starters were outstanding and the pasta good, but the main course was very basic to say the least. All in all though the dinner meal was OK.

Hard to reach without good driving skills. We would have appreciated the dinner staff to be more alert and talkative.

We had an issue with the farm dogs barking at the neighbouring dogs right outside our door. Eventually, after reporting to the staff, they came down and took the dogs back to the house.

Some of the passages can be made more comfortable to go around with a pushchair, and there could be a road to the pool were it can be accessed easily with a pushchair as you need to go down some stairs and a rocky passage.

Unfortunately, we arrived later in the day and only stayed one night and did not get to take advantage of all the location had to offer. That's on us, not the property!

The property location was fabulous. Beautiful views, surrounded by nature. The staff, especially Claudia, made us feel welcome upon our arrival. We were able to relax and have the most incredible dinner (way too much food!!).
