Beautiful surroundings and location. An eye for detail in the furniture and design, we felt very welcomed after a long car trip. One of our rooms was for an elderly member of the family with a walker and was on the ground floor with no architectural barriers which worked perfectly. Will definitely stop here again on our long car journeys.

We booked a two-night stay at Agroturismo Rio Verde. The location was very convenient, easy to reach, close to Sasso Marconi, and only a 20-minute drive from Bologna. Although we had reserved the one-bedroom apartment (a few minutes’ drive from the main Agroturismo, near the woods), upon arrival we noticed a loud engine noise outside the house and were concerned it might disturb us at night. When we mentioned this, the staff member accompanying us was extremely kind and immediately offered to move us to the house next door. This apartment was perfectly insulated with thick windows, so we didn’t hear any noise at all. The apartment itself was very clean and well equipped, with a small kitchen that had everything we needed for a short stay. Breakfast was served at the main Agroturismo house, it was simple but delicious. The gravel courtyard, strung with cantina lights, created a cozy and welcoming atmosphere, ideal for relaxing in the morning or evening. From here, we even spotted two deer in the nearby fields, which was a lovely surprise. The staff were all super friendly and helpful, making our stay even more enjoyable. Overall, we were very happy with our experience and would definitely recommend Agroturismo Rio Verde.

Spacious apartment, very nice surroundings. We stayed one night (arrived late driving from Milan airport) en route to Assisi. Very good breakfast. Quite liked this place. Would love to come back for a longer stay.

As usual it is an amazing place to stay, we keep coming back every year on our way to the Alps. Rooms are very nice, beds are comfortable, the nature around is beautiful, staff and cuisine are perfect. It is a perfect place for adults and for kids.

The place is absolutely beautiful, we stayed here as the first stop on the Via Degli Dei and what a treat it was. The rooms are furnished beautifully and the restaurant was an amazing experience from beginning to end. It's not the cheapest accommodation in the general area but it is definitely worth it.

We liked everything. The room was very clean and spacious. The surroundings were very quiet and far from the city, so you really feel like you’re staying on a farm, not in a hotel. It was simply comfortable and beautiful. I wish I could say more, but we only stayed one night to take a break after a long journey. However, what we saw in that short time really impressed us.

Welcoming owners, beautiful and clean place, cozy enviroment. Magical place, enjoyed it a lot! Hard to explain the feeling while staying there but it was all about authenticity and a lot of hard work and love invested into home which is shared with travelers.

We walked from the Sasso Marconi train station and it was a little bit longer of a hike than we bargained for (about 40 minutes). The hotel does however offer a transfer service but we didn't know about that until after we had arrived. It can also be a little confusing figuring out which room is yours. Its probably best to book through the hotels website.

The hotel runs a truncated dinner menu for hotel guests when the restaurant is closed which is very helpful. The food was wonderful and we really enjoyed our stay.

One small side note: the kitchen table could be a bit bigger, and having a few more kitchen supplies would make cooking and dining more convenient. Just a minor suggestion in an otherwise excellent experience.

Roberto, our host, did a fantastic job making us feel welcome from the moment we arrived. The atmosphere was warm and relaxed, and the setting was peaceful, perfect for unwinding. Highly recommended for anyone looking to experience genuine hospitality in a beautiful countryside location.

A beautiful Agriturismo option in Tuscany. Peaceful and just outside of the town of Sasso Marconi. Restaurant on site for dinner. Very tasty menu options and an exceptional breakfast with delicious pastries and bakes.
