Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

United StatesLocation, hosts, and atmosphere were wonderful. We stayed for 4 weeks, riding our bicycles and visiting all of the hill towns as well as Arezzo, Perugia, Florence, Lucca. The location is convenient for touring the entire region (assuming you have a car). The hosts were absolutely amazing and made us feel extremely welcome. The working farm was so peaceful and picturesque. They sell great wine and olive oil on the premises for very reasonable prices. I fell in love with their dog, Dark, who visited us daily. We stayed in the 1-bedroom Archi apartment, and we would definitely stay here again. Very happy that we did NOT stay in Siena (only a 15-minute drive and absolutely wonderful to visit, but inconvenient daily parking and bicycling, as well as overpriced accommodations). We ate in restaurants usually once a day while sightseeing, and cooked other meals in the apartment. Lots of nice grocery stores within a 15-minute drive. The bicycling right from Roverella was excellent, both paved and gravel roads. Quite a few cypress lined roads very close by without the crowding of other cypress roads that are over-exposed on social media. It was like a private paradise. The hosts helped us re-assemble our bikes in their workshop on the premises. We rented an SUV and used it to transport our bikes to locations further away (we're casual cyclists, so did shorter rides).

PolandThe apartment misses reading lights, adding them would make our stay even more enjoyable. Bacco is located under Sole apartment, so it's possible to hear guests from the other apartment, but it wasn't disturbing in our case.
La Roverella is perfectly located on the side of Ville di Corsano village. It offers 4 apartments, each conveniently separated from each other. We had the chance to stay in Bacco, which offers a stunning view to the grape orchard. We were warmly welcomed by the hosts who were always available to answer our questions and show us their farm. The apartment was clean and nicely equipped, making our stay very pleasant. There is very well-equipped shop and bakery in the village, easily accessible after a short walk. It's also easy to get to Siena and Florence (by car).

BelgiumA very nice Agriturismo in the centre of the lovely village of Ville di Corsano. They make red and white wine, olive oil and grappa. You can make a lovely walk on the huge terrain of La Roverella. The hosts are friendly people and they even have a kind of museum. There are several apartment units, I stayed in "Bacco". Very good WiFi and a kitchen with a fridge, microwave oven, tea and coffee facilities. Graziana bought spaghetti for me since the only restaurant in the village is closed.

CanadaAbsolutely nothing. Note: we visited during mosquito season, the unit has screens on the windows to keep out the vast majority of mosquitos!
This multi generational agriturismo was everything we wanted for our Tuscany agriturismo experience. Thanks to Sara for making our entire stay memorable. The accommodation is located in the town of Ville di Corsano, about 30 km. south of Siena. Major sights including Asciano, Crete Sensi and Siena are less than an hour drive away. On one of the days we drove to Pienza and Montepulciano. The actual suite, Archi, was historical with the modern kitchen conveniences. The one bedroom unit had everything we needed for a comfortable stay (we travel with our own food for breakfasts and snacks). There is an EXCELLENT Osteria just beside the agriturismo. The peaceful setting and a comfortable bed make for a quiet stay. The kitchen was well equipped, with a toaster, kettle, stove, etc. Sara welcomed us with a bottle of wine. They also produce excellent olive oil. You are encouraged to take a short hike around the agriturismo, with distant views of Siena.

United StatesWe loved our location. A five minute walk through the vineyard and you have a beautiful Tuscan vista. Our accommodations had many personal touches including a bottle of wine and olive oil produced on the property. The photography on the walls was created by the owner. One can just feel the passion and connectedness of this agriturismo.

United StatesLeaving!😭
Beautiful apartment. Beautiful location. There isn't anything negative about this place. Everyone was very pleasant and welcoming. The accommodations exceeded out expectations. Our apartment was incredibly clean!! In fact, it was so clean that we almost felt guilty taking things out of our luggage or dirtying the dishes! The bathroom was well equipped and spotless. We had a two bedroom apartment. The decor was SO charming. It's everything you could ever ask for if you want the true countryside feeling of Siena. The kitchen was perfect. It had all the amenities you could ever ask for. A bottle of homemade wine from the owners was a delightful gift. It's the best red wine I have ever tasted. There was also homemade olive oil to use for cooking, made by the owner as well. Amazing taste! The grounds are so breathtaking that it was seriously hard to leave. The best part of this stay may very well be the beautiful, friendly, sweet dog Dark. We fell in love with him and wanted to spend all of our time with him. He loved to take us on adventures around the property. He would run ahead and then stop and look back to make sure we were coming. He was the most adventurous and energetic dog with the cutest personality. His kind eyes will have you melting.

The excellent location of the apartments, in the famous Tuscan hills and not far from Siena, is also very convenient for radial trips to the cities of Tuscany from Arezzo to San Gimignano, as well as Montepulciano and Pienza. Apartment with a well-equipped kitchen, two bedrooms with comfortable beds and wonderful views of the vineyards. Parking near the entrance to the apartment, which is also very convenient. The owners of the apartments, the Machetti family, are amazing people, very friendly, helpful and kind. Thank you Graziano, Grazia and Sara for everything, we will definitely be back!!

Lovely Tuscan agritourism site, close to Siena, and within reasonable drives to anywhere around Tuscany and Umbria Wonderful, helpful hosts who provide their own olive oil and a bottle of their homemade wine. The apartment is cosy and pleasant, with a very workable kitchen and amenities. Lovely place to walk around. Very convenient to have a washing machine on site.
