Not hotel related but due to heat, trekking or kayak was a bit too hot for us. There was not much else to do nearby so we ended up going again to the beaches. Food at dinner was ok, we had higher expectation of it.

The hotel is located right underneath the mountains and has beautiful grounds. Our room was elegant and tastefully decorated. It has nice outdoor sitting area and hammock, lots of olive trees providing shades. So peaceful just spend time enjoying the surroundings and rural Sardinia. Dinner outdoor was in a nice garden and we enjoyed it.

Some additional amenities - eg mini fridge - would be helpful as a standard. I only realized upon reading reviews after the trip that I could’ve requested this. Including breakfast for Booking.com guests (who pay €17/day, unlike other guests) would increase value for money, which in considering the above was lesser compared to other agriturismos at which we’ve stayed. We would have appreciated an explanation of the à la carte menu option, as there was some confusion on our arrival to the dining table as to how to order off this menu and it made the experience that night awkward as we did not know the system.

Absolutely stunning location, comfortable rooms with lovely decks, very helpful staff who, on check-in, recommended a whole range of activities in the area, including a kayak excursion that turned out to be a highlight of our time in Sardinia. Many places to relax on the property, plentiful dinners.

Our stay at Agriturismo Guthiddai was an unforgettable experience, offering a genuine taste of rural Sardinia. Located amidst rolling hills, olive groves, vineyards, the agriturismo provided a perfect escape from the everyday hustle. Comfortable modern friendly place. They take pride in their restaurant and wine, and so they should. Lovely to sit out and enjoy the views of the countryside. They were also kind and helpful with a personal problem we had.

Beautifully located with mountain view. Splendid hiking trail to Tiscali Mountain nearby. Warmly welcomed by our hosts. Had a great dinner at the accommodation, accompanied with a splendid Nepente wine, produced by the Agriturismo itself in honour of the grandfather of this familiy business.

My stay at Guthiddai was nothing short of exceptional. We took a cooking class on the property shortly after check in. It was super easy to book & reasonably priced. We learned how to make 3 different types of pasta with a rockstar chef, Roberto! We had so much fun! Dinner that night was delicious and we were served some of our creations which was a visual treat! The property is well maintained and just a beautiful aesthetic overall. It’s a great location with the backdrop of the mountains. The staff were the best part, they made us feel right at home and were very accommodating. Highly recommend, a true gem of a stay!

There was nothing we didn’t like.

The dinners were the best we had in all of Italy and will also be remembered as the best in all our years of travel for my wife who is usually vegan but did vegetarian for Italy. Instead of ingredients taken away to make the meals vegetarian, her courses were incredible one after another. We ended up shipping home a case of the Guthiddai Olive Oil. The owner and staff were tremendous.

The dinners had a lot of meat but their house cannonau wine made up for that.

I liked the experience of staying in a very relaxed space surrounded by olive trees, wine producing grape vines and the sounds of a working farm. I visited Sardinia because I want to explore the Blue Zones. This location answed that goal.

The breakfasts were a bit disappointing as the quality of food didn’t match the food served in the evening. The breakfast chef was very helpful but could have done with some help.

The location was beautiful and we had a lovely welcome from the staff. The evening meals were delicious and the menu changed each evening. Staying for three days, we didn’t want the 5 course menu each night and the manager was happy for us to choose a La carte.

Nothing could have been better!

Everything about our stay here was magical! From the location to the staff and the food, everything was unforgettable and the highlight of our trip. We couldn't get over the mountain views and olive trees. Highly recommend having dinner on the property and doing the tasting menu. We did it both nights and it was so fun to try traditional, homemade food. About 35-40 minute drive to the coast for water-related activities. We were happy to stay in the mountains and make the drive to Orosei for day trips. Room was clean, a great size, and the most comfortable bed we slept in in Italy! Staff was friendly, helpful, and offered recommendations nearby!

A beautiful, lovely agriturismo. Located in picturesque part of Sardinia. Magnificent views of the mountains and close to the Golfo. Rooms are lovely, clean, and cozy. The garden and all facilities are superb. The restaurant is delicious with homemade and fresh food and fantastic personal service. The biggest plus are all the people who make Guthiddai so special. Everyone was super attentive, helpful, and kind. It was our great pleasure to stay here and we will certainly be back and recommend it to anyone. A special mention to our friend Marcello who made every breakfast a celebration and gave us lots of great advice and help.

I presume we were unlucky with our check in time. There was no one who spoke English on site and there is no information in the rooms. We had no idea when the evening meal was or where to go to eat it. We felt quite uncomfortable. Once we had eaten and there were more staff around it became more relaxed. A simple note with instructions in other languages would have helped.

The location was stunning with the mountains in the background. We ate in the garden with a musician entertaining us as we dined, the atmosphere was special as was the food which comprised of a many course tasting menu. We had a bottle of their own wine, which was lovely, there were no prices on anything, I presumed the wine would be €50 a bottle, when I checked out it was only €25. If we'd known that we'd have had more. Breakfast is all home made and excellent, the owners are great and good company.
