Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

IrelandNothing of major importance, but it could be worth fixing a couple of umbrellas by the pool. Also, the furniture outside the room was a little tired looking.
We stayed 4 nights at Casa Marmida during our trip to Sardinia and it was one of our favourite locations of the entire trip. We are both food lovers, and we really wanted to try the best of the local cuisine. Casa Marmida did not disappoint, and not only was the food and service exceptional, but it was incredible value for money. Especially compared to other restaurants we visited on the island where they are happy to charge premium prices but deliver only average food. Casa Marmida is great for food lovers, and I won’t say too much so as not to ruin the surprise! Each night we were treated to a different four course meal specially prepared by Andrea and his staff. On our last night we treated ourselves to the ten course tasting menu. The food and service was very high quality and the service provided by Nicholas is worth a mention. He was very attentive and head chef Andrea also visited the tables. The property itself is on a farm and offers a rustic setting. The rooms were very clean and air conditioned. The property also had a swimming pool, but we chose to visit the local beaches instead. The animals can be visited, and the two dogs came to greet us at arrival. Although, Nerino and Arancina do not offer luggage service they were more interested in belly rubs. Overall, this was a very enjoyable part of our holiday and even for the food alone it is well worth a visit.

NetherlandsNice swimming pool, quiet location, rooms are simple but comfortable, kids really loved the farm animals and dogs but best of all was the food. We dined 3x at the property, twice a 4 course dinner and once the 10 course dinner with wine pairing and all dishes were different and excellent. Informal environment with exceptional food.

United KingdomOverall, we felt the value for money was not great compared to other accomodation we stayed at in Sardinia. The room was quite basic: two single beds next to each other with the mattress was not of the best quality. There is no soundproofing between the rooms: you can hear everything from the bathroom next door. The garden furniture on the room terrace could be upgraded too. The breakfast is okay but with limited options: eggs from the farm would have been a nice addition and some bottled water too.
The location is great, very peaceful The farm with all the animals is great too The owner is also a Chef and you are able to have refined meals every night (40€ per person for a 4 course meal).

United StatesWe really loved this place - nothing to say here.
Casa Marmida far exceeded our expectations. The property and farm was beautiful and quiet. The food was truly spectacular. Andrea is an amazing chef and prepared the best meals we had in Sardinia. All of the ingredients were either grown/raised on the farm by Andrea and his family or sourced locally. The farm is centrally located to explore some beautiful Sardinian beaches, ancient cites, natural areas and more. We look forward tor returning.

United StatesNothing. Loved it!
Andre cooks his heart out and delivers. My husband and I are usually disappointed when we eat out. At Casa Marmida we were treated to dinners that exceeded our expectations! Hospitality awesome, rooms newly updated and property very fun! Totally enjoyed out stay! We stayed at a "famous" Agriturismo afterwards and I kept wishing I was still at Casa Marmida!

United KingdomThe bed was a little uncomfortable (two singles put together and thin mattress) and you could hear neighbours using their bathrooms through the walls…
Beautiful pool. Lovely owner (Andrea) who doubled up as a fantastic chef cooking up a completely new 4 course meal every night! The black dog Nerina is super friendly :). The goats and piglets too.
