Each review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive info (e.g. emails, phone numbers, credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (i.e. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

A nice and clean room with a good and quiet location near the beach. An extra plus for the air conditioning, the clothes hanger and the refrigerator! Friendly hostess.

Spotlessly clean, spacious and comfortable. Everything you need for a great stay in Levanto. Friendly host. Just a minute’s walk from the beach. Location couldn’t have been better.

Walls are thin so you might hear your neighbours a bit.
The room was great. It looks even better in reality compared to the pictures. You are literally the first house across the street by the sea and can reach the beach within a couple of minutes. When it’s quiet you can even hear the waves. The train station is reachable in about 15 minutes by foot. There is a tight garage for your car available.

A beautiful, modern, clean and spacious room. The location is ideal being approx 100m from the beach and 200m from town centre. Every day my room was replenished with coffee pods for the espresso machine, snacks and drinks. The host was incredibly helpful and very easy to communicate with if I needed anything. For the price I was not expecting such wonderful accommodation.

Alessandra was so helpful with any questions we had, she even checked a taxi price for us with a local company. We were provided a little bag of breakfast pastries and tea/coffee almost every day, which was very nice. The room also came with some bikes that were free to use, which was great for the cycle lane along the coast! The room was big and clean, with air-conditioning and lots of storage. You are literally a stones throw from the beach here which is amazing! And also a very short walk to all the shops and restaurants.

Perfect place to stay for a vacation. Few steps to the see, close to restaurants and Levanto central square, 10 minutes walk to train station. Clean and comfortable room. Snacks and coffe for breakfast. Recomend this place if you visit Cinque Terre, for a calm evenings after crowded days. Thank you Allesandra.

This hotel is an ideal base for visiting Cinque Terre and is a lovely town with lots of restaurants and a beach too! It is not crowded like the other villages can be! A more relaxing experience ! Great views from the town too! The hotel is very comfortable and in a quiet location. There is a grocery shop within 5mins walk where you can get essentials for breakfast and snacks for the day. The train station is within walking distance.

Alessandra the hostess/receptionist/house keeper was very welcoming helpful and always cheerful and friendly.. She even brought us over a bottle of wine!! Nothing was too much for her. She made our stay in the region very memorable..

There is only one spare pillow for a double room. I would suggest adding another one.
The staff facilitated our check-in. The room was really clean and good size. The location was just 10 minutes' walk to the centre, and 20 to the train station.Breakfast is not included, but it is not needed as there were drinks, coffee, and pastries in the room.

It was a little hard to find and on a narrow street. The pictures on Booking.com didn't show the outside of the building so we drove by it the first time.
Great facilities and underground parking available. Friendly and helpful staff. Fridge stocked with drinks. Coffee and tea.

Nothing! Cinque Terre was terribly overcrowded, not worth it!
Alessandra is a fantastic host, always available and willing to help and provide you the best of the best. We could borrow bicycles for free (very nice and easy bike ride to charming Bonassola is highly recommended) and got a free upgrade to the biggest room. Free coffee and water and snacks. Great beds, very clean. We would definitely go here again. Levanto is a place to fall in love with. Grazie mille, Alessandra!

Our studio was very comfortable, light and airy, and very clean. It was well situated in a quiet area, an easy walk from the station, a few steps from the beach and a short stroll into the centre of Levanto. Thank you to Alessandra and her sister for all your help during our stay.

the only thing we thought that could be improved would be that we would have liked proper cups (rather than paper ones) and glasses and plates provided
we loved the spaciousness, the cleanliness of the room, the bed was comfortable and there was plenty of storage. it was nice to be provided with juice, breakfast snacks water and also tissues, cotton buds,shower cap and sewing kit in bathroom. we also loved the location
