Each review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive info (e.g. emails, phone numbers, credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (i.e. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
Guidelines and Standards for Reviews

The apartment was very clean and we loved having the balcony outside. It is in a perfect location which is only a 5 min walk to Levanto Train Station and Levanto Beach. Perfect little spot if you are looking to explore Cinque Terre!

Location brilliant, only 5 minutes from the train station, supermarket and restaurants. Perfect location for Cinque Terre. Rooms were very clean and well maintained, great space, and brilliant shower. Comfortable bed and lovely clean bedding etc. great outdoor sitting area. Host Barbara was fantastic, so helpful and great communicator, she made you feel so welcome. Felt really safe as a lone traveller. Great value for money, I would highly recommend this accommodation.

Excellent location to the train station, village and beach. Loved the balcony. Lovely apartment. Levanto is special and perfect to get to and from Cinque Terre. Great communication with Barbara, the host/owner.

Excellent location. Conveniently located within walking distance of the train station for Cinque Terre, Conad grocery store and restaurants. Very modern and comfortable apartment. There were two TV's available, one in the sitting room and the other in the bedroom. The apartment had a well equipped kitchen, a wrap around balcony and good parking.

Very clean, incredible host, near restaurants and market, and 5 minutes away (walking) from train station that connects to all of Cinque Terre.

The apartment was newly renovated and consequently very clean and well functioning. We did not use all the equipment but enjoyed having a nespresso and pods left for us especially on the balcony in the morning. We travelled with a wheelchair and found the place accessible to move through. Barbara the manager of the property was very friendly and responsive. We were able to store our bags safely after checkout as we wanted to take a late train out in the evening.

I don’t like that it was too perfect that you don’t want to go out of the room.
It was a perfect leisure stay. Everything thing was perfect. One suggestion is to upgrade the fridge.

Best location. 5 minute walk to the train station to get you to Cinque Terre. 10 minute walk to the beach and restaurants and shopping. Barbara was very helpful.

Sometimes shower water comes very hot quickly. The enfant must be careful.
The place is really good for visiting 5 terre. It's near beach and the place was good for family. Everything was equipped well in the kitchen. We enjoyed well this place.

Barbara was a fantastic host, very friendly and accommodating, we loved meeting her. Private parking was an amazing option as it's hard to find parking anywhere. Attention to detail was great and we enjoyed little surprises. Very clean, and in an awesome location, very close to the station and to downtown Levanto. So recommended

Amazing apartment which is very clean, cozy and well equipped with everything what you need for a stay. Location is in the centre of Levanto, the sea is in 5-10 minutes walk such as restaurants and supermarkets. Barbara is very friendly and helpful ☺️

Nothing! Maybe remember to let the host know in advance when you're arriving, since she is not on the premises all the time, and you might have to wait for her arrival to let you check-in.
We enjoyed our stay here. The location is perfect, close to the train station and the city center. The room was clean and comfortable. We liked that there were some amenities like a little fridge, a coffee maker, and tea available for the customers. Having a small balcony available was also great to have dinner and for drying your swimsuits faster. The host was nice and helpful, and since the room was ready early she let us check in earlier than expected.

The room is small, there is no room to breathe. It is close to the train station only for visiting the Cinque Terre villages, but it is definitely not worth the price.
I didn't like anything about it. The room is too small. There is no room to move:((
