Each review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive info (e.g. emails, phone numbers, credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (i.e. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

Maybe a holder with a knife and fork to make it possible to eat something at the table outside.
Located very well for a walk to the station and a short walk into town. Barbara is very helpful and friendly 👍

Every was just perfect
The location is simply wonderful. My room overlooking the the west, I experienced breathtaking sunsets. The place is quiet, tidy, clean and so comfortable! What a great surprise to find a bottle of Liguria wine in the room. Not to mention the sweet smell of lemon trees coming from the garden! Definitely a place to stay to enjoy the real Liguria. I’ll be back soon.❤️

Very clean and modern apartment. Central location close to the train and centre of Levanto. Off street parking available which is very handy if you have a car. Comfortable and great location

Just a bit pricey but you pay for the location.
The location could not have been better for us, within easy walking distance of the train station (for the Cinque Terre villages) and the centre of Levanto. The car prking was very secure in the locked courtyard. The host was very professional and effective, providing all necessary information for our stay.

It was close to the train station. We easily reached Cinque Terre. Also the house has everything we needed. Clean, cozy and excellent place.

Very good accomodation next to the train station. The next supermarket is 10 minutes and the beach is approximately 15-20 minutes. Barbara was very helpful. We absolutely loved our holiday in Levanto.

If you want cleaning of the room earlier than 7 days(sheets and cleaning) you have to pay extra 25 euro and towels are changed free every 3 days (if you want earlier 8 euro). This did not bother me, but during a 4 night stay the trash from the room was not taken (plastic only). The trash cans for other types of trash were outside the room (would be a good idea to put all trash outside the room if the collecting is so slow).
Clean and recently renovated room and bathroom, near the beach (10 minutes walking), free private parking spot in the garage.

There were a lot of ants inside and outside the room.
The room was modern, clean and quite spacious. There was a small fridge, coffee&tea maker and good closet space. There’s a table and chairs at the terrace and even a place for you to dry your clothes. Barbara was a very nice and helpful host! The location is perfect near the train station and a grocery store and only a short walk from the beach.

Curtains don't block the light Poor isolation between rooms An intermediate cleaning should be added to keep the room clean (we stayed 3 nights) Shower door seal was loose so the shower door wouldn't close properly. We had to tap it back upright to be able to close it tight
Pretty decoration Clean & recently renovated room Coffee & cookies at disposal with kettle and coffee machine (adding herbal infusion would make it perfect) Early check-in and Barbara was very quick to reply Location (between city center and station)

Great location as a base to visit CT and the Italian riviera - near the train station and the city centre in Levanto, clean and well-lit room with a small terrace, nice and very responsive host, tea and coffee
