Marco was an amazing host! He answered any questions promptly and made wonderful recommendations for restaurants in the area. We tried many of his recommendations and they literally were all fabulous. Some of the best meals we had during our trip and the location was perfect— close enough to walk to everything but enough distance to be peaceful and restful at night.

Our stay was great! Marco was so helpful with checkin and suggesting nearby restaurants and bakeries, and even made us a reservation for one night’s dinner. The location is excellent - in a cool part of town, not too far from anything but a little quieter than near the Duomo. The room was comfortable!

Everything was perfect

The room was big and clean. Very comfortable. Marco is a great host, very kind and available for everything. He suggested place where to go and eat around in the neighborhood. The area where the place is located is beautiful, away from the crowded area and only 1 km from Ponte Vecchio, full of restaurants.

Marco was an incredible host, he was available always, nothing was too hard and had a myriad of information available via WhatsApp. The location of our stay was ideal for us, 20 minute walk to the centre but on the right side of town for restaurants etc. The room was comfortable and good value for money for staying in Florence.

We had a wonderful stay. The rooms and bathrooms were absolutely spotless, very well maintained and cheerfully decorated. Pillows and beds were very comfortable and the rooms were spacious with plenty of storage. There were so many thoughtful and kind details throughout the whole guesthouse that made us feel warmly welcomed, comfortable and at ease. The walk into the city was about 20 mins and was very pleasant and easy. Marco himself was a perfect host, kind and thoughtful and always one step ahead and communicating via WhatsApp to make sure we had everything we needed. For example when our flight was delayed he sent us instructions for late check-in that made the whole process stress free and seamless. His recommendations of local restaurants, supermarkets and attractions were so useful. On the day we left, he let us check out late, so we could enjoy a final tour of one of the attractions without having to worry about carrying our luggage around. We couldn’t have asked for a better stay. Thank you Marco!

Our stay was wonderful, the owner received us very kindly and gave us much help reccomending restaurants, cafés and directions to the property and also some attractions close by. He was always available on whatsapp for any doubts we had. Also, the location was great with many restaurants and other businesses nearby and a bus stop less than 5 minutes walking.

No one’s fault but in case you have a disability or need an elevator, there is none. Be aware that you have to climb stairs. Marco was gracious to help me with my luggage. Other than that, everything was perfect!

The host goes above and beyond your expectations, always checking in if you need anything and making himself available for you. Couldn’t ask for a better place to stay in Florence.

No cons as I can think of.

Marco (the host of the property) was great and very welcoming. There aren't many hosts that are genuinely friendly and caring and we were very positively surprised. Not only he was flexible with the check-in and check-out time, but also recommended us some great places to visit and try local cuisine. Other pros: - Great value for money - Very good location - 15-20 minutes walk from the train station, city center and main attractions, while still on a quiet street away from the noise and business of more central accommodations. - Rooms are very spacious, you have private bathroom and very comfy bed. The style of the furniture is very well balanced between vintage and some newer pieces to make it feel more modern.

Everything, absolutely everything! First of all, Marco is such an amazing and friendly host. He answered all of my questions and gave resturant recommendations etc even before we arrived. He was very attentive also upon our arrival and made us feel very welcomed. The location of Il Chiostrino is amazing, much better than I initially imagined. You can reach the place easily from Santa Maria Novella on foot or by bus. The centre is only 15 minutes away walking. It is in an area with good restraurants and cafes which are mostly preferred by the locals. The room was very comfortable; simple but lovely decoration and peaceful. The bathroom was new with good facilities. But the most importantly, the place was SPOTLESSLY clean, which I come across very rarely. Marco, thank you so much for this amazing experience. Next time we come to Firenze I know where we will stay.

Marco is a really nice man. I was told only booked one person for two night. It's my mistake, I didn't find the mistake. We are so lucky that the bed is big enough for two people and we won’t end up living on the streets. Haha... Thanks a lot, Marco. The apartment is pretty, cozy, quiet and beautiful. We will live again next time.

It's at the top of the building on what I would call the second floor (ground floor, first floor then second floor) without a lift, so make sure your suitcase isn't too heavy!

The owner was really flexible about check in and check out times, and is expert at using Google Translate to ensure you understand about check out etc. The bed was a sofa bed but it was comfy. Considering it was 37 degrees during my stay it was great to have air conditioning and a fridge/kitchenette to be able not to have to eat out for every meal (although there are nice restaurants and bars within metres of the apartment).
