We booked an economy room, but the bathroom had no window, despite this being indicated in the description, and it smelled very damp. The building has no elevator, so climbing to the 3rd floor was quite tiring. It has no airconditioner either.

The hotel has an excellent restaurant. You can order pizza until 22:00 or other dishes until 21:00. Even if you’re not staying at the hotel, I would still recommend eating there if you’re in the area.

Room was up three flights of stairs, there is no air conditioning, parking is not on site you have to walk across the road to a community parking lot. Listing says no restaurant but there is a pizzeria in the base so we felt bad showing up with our own food. Shower is very small.

Location is nice right on the lake, beds were comfortable, great value for money. Close to great hiking in the dolomites. Good wifi speed.

The shower in our bathroom was really small. And the window in the room was also really small. I was expecting a better room for the price paid. If you have the chance, book the room with lake view... then it might be more worthy of the price paid.

The mattress of the third bed was not great in the room. Could have been for a kid, but it was 3 grownups, but we managed. The restaurant was quite busy and they struggled a bit with the amount of requests, probably due to the short opening hours, but all in all it was not a negative, but an ok experience.

We really liked the location, it is a bit noisy, but what would you expect next to the main road. :) The food was really great. The stuff was friendly. The parking was easy and simple for us. Breakfasts were nice.

I read in the reviews that a birthday arrangement with a birthday card and flowers can be done - and its why I have booked it. However, afterwards Sylvia the receptionist told me that this cannot be arranged at all, (even though we would have paid), without offering me any alternative indeed, any idea, or anything at all. We asked for a taxi because we couldn't rent a car, but she was quite rudee saying that the hotel is notg responsible for this. Mention this it was heavy snowing and Cortina d'Ampezzo was quite full for anything below 400$ a night. Regardless, the owner.director helped us in the end. Apart from the receptionist, everyone else was beyond friendly, especiaaly the lady from the kitchen, also the pizza guy, also the owner. The morning breakfast coffeemachine had a sign do not exceed 2 drinks which I found it weird, especially bcs we skipped 2 breakafasts, so in fact I can allow my self three, - or who would at one breakfast at all? Meaning, one can barely exceed 2 drinks and there is no need of the sign, if that 1% does. However, I guess noone would say a thing if there are 3 indeed, I haven't tried though. All in all, I like it a lot nonetheless these 2 details So we would definitely go there again.

A nice hotel with old world charm. Very good breakfast and lovely staff. For us, the beds were not very comfortable and the bathroom could do with an update. However, in terms of value for money we were happy.
