How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)

To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

Perfect housekeeping for long years, I have been staying in this hotel since 2016 and they are always at good quality in service, lake view rooms are exceptional in the evening and sunset, hotel is located in between two tourist attractions Desenzano and Sirmione but you can also visit İseo and Verona.

Minor things on lack of flexibility: - we were given a discount voucher if we dined at the hotel that I fogot to use on our 1st night (the bill was charged to the room), the next day when I presented it to the hotel they categorically refused to validate it, and said next time we had dinner we can only use it on the spot, which didnt make sense given the fact that the bill was charged to the room and not paid on the spot - we had booked a non refundable option for 8 days, but we arrived 4 days late because we had a medical emergency that prompted us staying in the hospital back home (the rooms were already prepaid). We were kind of expecting a small gesture (not a refund), but the hotel management was blunt about it.
The staff working there is extremley friendly and very helpful and polite.

That there is no coffee in the room.
The hotel is perfectly located. Extremely clean, very friendly staff and the safe private parking is very important.

Overall good experience unfortunately the pool was out of use the 2nd and third day but the provided us a free access to thermal spa of Sirmione , great staff and service

No kettle, iron and ability to set your thermostat in the room. This also is not available on request, you'll be asked to get hot water form the lounge bar which is normally unmanned and closed at 11 pm onwards, very hard if you're travelling with little ones or older ones. Also, if you have lakeside view, there are 2 dogs in the property next door that bark at everything and all night. Nearly all things outside of what you have booked with room will cost you.

Temperature of indoor pool water is on a limit to be cold. Breakfast is quite poor choice, we stayed 6 night absolutely you are disapointed on 3rd / 4rd breakfest time.
Location is really good to explore Garda lake. Hotel is a bit outdated but still good value for money. Amazing is cleaning group which change bad and towels everyday.

Large room with balcony on rear garden. Excellent choice at breakfast. Comfy bed. Easy to reach by car. Lovely path to Desenzano in front of the hotel.

The restaurant starts at 7:30pm The sliding door to the balcony wasn’t sealed good and wind was making noise.

The pillows weren’t comfortable. And the dinner portions were much smaller than we expected. Not all the staff were genuinely friendly.
We had the best rum old-fashions made by a wonderful man. Great spa!

At the SPA reception, didn't feel cosiness, due to the basic pool smell, having no chill music and the staff was not happy to welcome you.
The pool is tiny and very dark to my mind. Doesn't offer the sense of a cosy SPA when you go through the SPA reception in your way to the pool, though.

Hotel asks to use swimming cap in external pool. Gym room was hot, no window, and one out of two machine broken. Repetitive breakfasts with average choices of food. In general hotel is ok but overpriced.
Location was perfect for us and good free outside parking. Nice view from the room (part lake view room). Friendly staff. Rooms not too big but clean with nice balcony.
