We especially liked the wonderful and lovely staff, very friendly, happy and helpful all the time. The hotel is exceptional for three stars, calm and quiet, with an eye for details, and very clean and welcoming. 5 minutes walk to the beach. The rooms with beach view and terrace are amazing. Very good parking facilities, 5 minutes from the ferry. Restaurants are within 10 minutes walking distance.

Hard pushed for a negative! The bathroom is tight with bifold shower doors. Would be great if they had a shower available outside of rooms to use on day of check out.

We had a lovely stay here. Very friendly staff, good breakfast. Super location - beach is a 5 minute walk. Although separate from the hotel I would recommend booking sunbeds - when we said we were from the hotel we were reluctantly given some after being told they were full. Parking is available. We walked into town for lunch and it is doable in 15 mins although hard in the heat with the hills.

Great location , proximity to Portoferraio and beach , helpful staff. Within 3 minutes you are at beach. You can come to your room after a couple hours at the beach and then go back again. This is a hotel that we will be staying the next time.

I was at the hotel with my daughter. The hotel exceeded my expectations. Firstly, the staff treats the guests with all their heart. The restaurant is staffed by wonderful people, it seems as if it is one family. There is a gorgeous azure beach nearby, which is a 3-minute walk away. The view from the window is stunning.

We had a wonderful time. The staff was waiting for us at breakfast with Easter chocolate eggs on Easter Day! Such a nice touch. The hotel staff was extra friendly with our kids, always happy to help. Our family room was very spacious, comfortable and very clean, fully renovated. I would recommend the hotel anytime.

Fantastic stay at Aquamarina Hotel. Superb location, stunning views, staff were so lovely and accommodating. Room was immaculate, all/any requests dealt with immediately. Freshly renovated ( not sure when) but the rooms look good. We had the standard one, so not too big or too small ( for 3 days). The hotel has still a touch of 90’s but the eooms are quite up to date. So a nice charm. And you get easily to a beautiful beach ( white rocks with blue water). And everyone is friendly.

Breakfast is below what you'd expect, definitely needs improvement (coffee is barely drinkable), not meeting italian hotel standards. You pay for the location. Value-for-money is a bit on the pricey side, especially during high season.

Galant and exceptionally friendly staff, from the cleaning staff to hotel admins to the night portier/barkeeper, everyone is warm-hearted and charming. Professionally run hotel, clean and quiet. Good location for nearby beaches (Padulella, Capo Bianco, Sansone, La sorgente), quiet a climb uphill.

Everything was perfect!

Spent 6 days on beautiful Elba. From the ferry you are at the hotel in 2 minutes. The staff is very friendly and always there for you, especially that sweet Luca. Everything is very clean and the breakfast is top. Definitely worth coming back here again, thanks Hotel Acquamarina for all the hospitality. You have made our stay unforgettable.

The location is superb. Really nice beaches at walking distance and also the town of Portoferraio that is always good. Rooms and facilities looking really good. Staff very friendly and helpful. Breakfast is super nice as you have an amazing view just in front of you, no better way to start the day.
