I got another apartament than the one I rented that was not as beautiful and clean as the one from pictures, which I had acces from an interior garden. The bathroom door was broken. The lightning was very vague.

The location was very close to the Dome. 900 meters from the Train Station. The breakfast was an italian one ( coffe, croisant and fruits with yogurt). The host was friendly.

The only thing we didn’t like is that because it’s on the ground floor next to a private patio/garden, we had three cockroaches.

Transferring keys procedure. I used location from Google, had to call the owner, he told me where to go. All these information could be written somewhere. Aparatment was clean in Italian style. Do not expect that everyhting will shine.

The Accademia Studio apartment is settled on the second floor of the very old bulding. You must get there using stairs, so any big or/and heavy bags will make check in and out a bit heavy. The location given in the Booking.com is not accurate, you are ending up on the street. To collect the keys you have to go to the Ostria restaurant, right on the corner, and ask for Paulo. The apartment itself was great. Rooms were big, with comfortable beds, kitches had everything we needed. The interior of the apartment is incredible: you have painted ceilings, some of them are wooden. It is very original apartment. Additionally, its location is stunning: you have 5 minutes walk to central catherda and around 15 minuteswalk to the famouse market. Lots of shops, coffes, restaurants and everything around. Even though it is located in the middle of the crawded part, it is quite at night. The apartment has AC, but don't expect much of it since it is mounted in the hall.

The location is good. Within a few minutes to The Duomo and the main shopping area around. There are 2 toilets within the unit. Arranged carpark facilities within the ZTL zone. 30 Euro. Provided simple breakfast at a nearby cafe.

As it is in an old building there are steps between rooms, this is of course part of the charm of an older property in the heart of Florence however I would be cautious if you have young children. Not an issue for us, as expected in some buildings there is no lift (clearly stated) and this apartment is up a steep flight of stairs so factor this in. As we only stayed one night and had breakfast out I can't comment on the kitchen provisons.

Easy to find key pick up from the description and friendly host, we were escorted to the property with the key and given a tour and clear hand over which was a very welcoming start to the holiday. Breakfast was included at a local osteria which was a nice touch. Whilst the view from the apartment is nothing special the location could not be better. A ten minute walk to the Cathedral in the historic center, yet quiet over night. Comfortable beds and clean apartment. We were also able to leave luggage at the Osteria until we needed to collect it.

The apartment is a little tired and quite dark but was very clean and fine for our stay.

The apartment is very large - lots of space. It was in an amazing location just 1 minute walk to the Duomo and very close to the Accademia gallery. The breakfast included at the local cafe was so delicious - lovely service!

Kitchen not fully equipped & utensils not clean. No kitchen towel. The property is a bit dark. Prefer it to be brighter especially at the dining area.

It comes with a very good breakfast (Italian). All staff at the restaurant were super friendly

The washing machine didn't work so we has to hand wash our clothes. There were 4 of us so there were a lot of clothes! There was no tea, only herbals and onstant coffee. The elevator is very old and only takes 1 person and 1 bag at a time.

The location was perfect! The breakfast in the restaurant (affiliated with the accommodation) accross the street was fantastic, and on the days we went on tour they gave us a packed breakfast the evening before. The guys in the restaurant were very friendly and helpful. This is in the historical centre so the apartment is very old (15th century) which added to its charm.

Beds were firmer than we are used to and pillows were pretty flat ( this is very subjective and just a personal preference). We felt the kitchen was a little under stocked eg only one wine glass, no kitchen towel for drying dishes and dishwasher was not clean. If you have mobility issues, this might not be the best place for you as the unit is on second floor. There is a very small lift but you need to prearrange to use it and need key for it.

Location was great. Unit overlooked street with cafes and restaurants, lots of life, laughter and music filtered up into open windows and made you feel part of the culture and life of Florence. Included Italian breakfast was great, staff at Osteria were fabulous, friendly and welcoming. 2 toilets/bathrooms was a plus but ensuite shower was difficult to use (wet the entire bathroom). Unit had aircon. Any issues we brought to the attention of the owners were dealt with promptly.

The appartment was in the second floor but the elevator was not for the guests to use. A little notice on the breakfast, we, Arabs don't usually eat sweets in the breakfast. We like salty food more.
