Great location, comfortable bed, lovely apartment but the best thing was the people who looked after us, especially Guiseppe who went well above and beyond to help us during our stay

Checkout is 930am, the directions through booking.com link take you to a location in the street their location is off so enter location in Google maps instead. No towels provided for pool/beach and comment to say do not take room towels to pool/ beach. Comment on rules re makeup not to be left on towels, supply cotton balls or similar would be good.

Good space, good location walking distance from port and local amenities, simple breakfast but nice with fresh fruit. Room was clean and tidy.

Perhaps stairs, but we are in Italy.

It was a small apartment and so had gas cooking facilities which was so nice to heat water for a cup of tea and also to fry something for dinner instead of eating out. The breakfast was lovely with many delicious cakes as well as usual continental breakfast. The waitress was delightful and encouraged me to practise my limited Italian on her with great patience. Giovanni who ran the place was particularly helpful especially when my husband needed to go to hospital and arranged taxi service for us. He was genuinely concerned for his welfare. He was happy to take us to the ferry when leaving when the taxi wasn't available. Can't rate them high enough.

Residence Acanto is a beautiful accommodation! A short walk from the port, town, and Marina Corta, there is no shortage of walkable places to go. The residence is spacious, the breakfasts are delicious with a broad variety of options, and the Giuseppe is more than happy to assist with planning day to day activities, as well as providing a brochure of recommendations. We would definitely stay again and recommend to anyone looking for a central location to holiday in Lipari!

We liked everything! Guissepe made our anniversary perfect 👌 Apartment had lovely decor, was equipped with comfy bedding, kitchenette supplies, 3 balconies, mountain view patio, 2 minute walk to town and 5 minute walk to Ferry. We could stay here for weeks!

Nothing. But if you had mobility issues it might be difficult - lots of steps and stairs

We loved this place. We were in a one bedroom apartment with a terrace and we thought it was delightful. It had a slightly old fashioned air but so does our own home! . It would be tricky if you wanted to self cater but we only wanted to make a cup of tea, and it was great for that. The breakfast was good. The staff were very helpful. The location is great. It had everything we wanted.

The location was ideal for exploring the main areas. The size of the apartment exceeded expectations.

Gorgeous and well maintained! The room we ended up getting had multiple balconies with beautiful views! Clean, comfortable, and the breakfast was delicious! I wish we had time to stay here for a few days more and soak up the relaxing vibes. The staff was very kind with suggestions on restaurants and the beach.

Very clean apartment in the heart of Lipari. Next to the main port and Main Street of the island but it did not come with the exceeded noise. In the night it was calm and quiet. The owner was extremely kind and helpful.

The apartment was nicely decorated, comfortable and air conditioned, the breakfast rich with cake and fruit. The jacuzzi was basic but convenient for a relaxing session. The entire family enjoyed our stay at Residence Acanto.

I loved the floor tiles and the spaciousness of the place. The old stones in the garden and the breakfast were wonderful. Giuseppe was very kind and helpful. He went out of his way to help us with an issue on Booking.com, He helped us with our luggage upon arrival, held our luggage, and escorted us to the port of Lipari when we were ready to leave, providing assistance once again. Wonderful experience, highly recommend.

The only thing I can think of is the lack of a washing machine. If you are staying a few days, this probably doesn’t matter much. It would be nice to be able to comfortably wash in your apartment and hang things out.

Everything about this place was perfect! The apartments are very spacious and quiet. Right in the center of Lipari and next to the castle.

A wonderful place to stay in Lipari, Residence Acanto was an excellent base to explore the islands. Giuseppe was a fantastic host, providing recommendations and helping make arrangements for us. The room was spacious and clean and the pool area was great too!

Centrally located and very close (5 min walk) from Marina Lunga where the Liberty Ferries arrive. Beautiful, spacious and well equipped for a B&B, complete with kitchenette, fridge, gas stove, and cooking items. No coffee in room though. Separate lounge/dining area and large bedroom, dual aspect with 2 balconies, wardrobe chest of drawers. Front terrace with table and chairs for outside dining or drinks. Wonderful roof terrace with pool sun lounges and alfresco area. Breakfast was lovely- sweets, cold cuts, freshly made eggs and bakery, and fruit and yoghurt. Good coffee. Giuseppe is an excellent host, and speaks English well and can advise on tours attractions etc.

If you want great views, you have to do bit of walking and lots of steps, but you get to really experience the local life and the area when walking.

Breakfast was delicious with traditional pastries, biscuits, fruit and coffee. Location was good with amazing views from our balcony and the breakfast area.

Il signor Giuseppe is very friendly and helpful. He helped us to hire a car . The appartment was equipped with all the necessary and ir was very spacious. The pool is to share with the others but nice with a view. The rooms are quite spacious. It is very central close to port and castle
