The territory of the residence is very green and well-kept, with many plants and flowers like in a botanical garden. The staff is very friendly and helpful, since we arrived by plane and could not take many things, Sarah kindly offered and provided us with beach umbrellas, a small chair to sit on the beach, and also advised us of several excellent beaches nearby. There is also a fairly spacious swimming pool on the territory. Our impressions are very good and positive.

My wife had read reviews before booking and we both agree that a Microwave would be an excellent addition to the kitchen. Airconditioning was not included in the price, but available for 10 Euro per day, which is a significant added cost. Fortunately, it was early June and Aircon wasn't needed. However, August may be a different story? Most if not all our forward bookings had aircon included, which we would recommend.

We loved the location, the gardens were always attended and were immaculate. The pool is just wonderful, we made sure we had a swim in the pool daily, this is a well maintained and beautiful pool! We believed the check in experience with Sara was exceptional beyond question and it is people like Sara that made our stay very memorable, 10/10 for Sara.! This was our first booking having travelled from Australia. From the time we left home in Sydney, waiting for connections and flying on 3 different routes, we had an elapsed time of 37 hours. NEVER AGAIN! We drove our hire car for about an hour from Cagliari to Abbaechelu, not difficult really. Check in of course was easy with Sara and we were surprised to find the Garden Bar and restaurant next to the pool. They immediately helped us with a beautiful meal and local wines. What a welcome and such friendly people. A great welcome to Sardinai indeed! Its the people who make the difference, it felt like home!

We hadn’t realised that air conditioning was an extra cost and the room got quite hot at night, but a fan would’ve probably been fine. The location is quite remote, there is no where to go for dinner that is walkable so you either have to cook or drive somewhere.

The setting is beautiful, filled with plants and super close to the beach. Very quiet area that’s very relaxing, a good base to explore South Sardinia from by car. The pool area is gorgeous with a big pool and cafe/bar. The apartment itself is well equipped and private. Sara was super helpful and so friendly!

There is only one cafe/restaurant which is quite expensive and serves very small portions, even the kids were not full. The ravioli with tomato sauce, and the gnocchi are good. The pizza was not a classic pizza which was disappointing considering it is Italy. Apparently it’s served without tomato sauce, but the menu didn’t reflect this so we didn’t know until after we ordered. Breakfast is only croissant, but the pistacchio one is great. Overall the lunch and dinner left more to be desired and therefore we often went to Pula to eat instead. A car is definitely needed. The bus does work, and we used it a couple of times, but it only runs about five times a day, so it can be tricky to plan around and is quite time-consuming.

The hotel is very calm and quiet, perfect for a family trip. The pool is amazing, they really take care of the pool area and we could see them cleaning it every morning. There is lots of greenery around providing shade, such as large palm trees swaying, flowers everywhere. The managers and the staff working in the garden and by the pool are all really nice and helpful. Also Aldo at the restaurant was really friendly and professional. The woman in the restaurant however did not seem to enjoy her job and sometimes made us feel like a bother. The beach is a 2 min walk away and we loved it, small, clean and no jelly fish in June. The kitchen was fine for making breakfast. Lots of cats around the hotel which was charming. Since the restaurant only serves very simple dishes we ended up going to Pula a couple of times during our stay to eat mainly. Nora beach and the archaeological site is very beautiful as well.
