It happened to be quite warm when we were there in August 2025. We were on the sunny side of the building and the air conditioner was not able to cool the room as much as we would have liked.

The staff weren't very welcoming and I felt like if I asked a question at the front desk it was an inconvenience for them. I had a spa treatment and it felt like the lady wished she wasn't there - during the massage, the lights were left on full, didn't ask for preferences, just said 'that's it' at the end and ushered out of the room etc. - it didn't feel that luxurious of an experience

The pool area was lovely, it was nice to be able to book spa treatments at the hotel, our room was really large, bed was super comfortable and the food was lovely

If we’d been told there was a gala evening planned we would have bought appropriate clothes.

The hotel was a little dated but spacious clean and very well run . The staff were super and welcoming. The food was excellent and I had one of the best massages of my life .

The facilities were disappointing for a five-star hotel. The pools—both indoor and outdoor—are not connected and appear basic, outdated, and not well-maintained, with noticeable dirt in the water. The three saunas were extremely small, very old, and far from the standards one would expect. Compared to other hotels in the area, even with fewer stars, the overall wellness facilities felt lacking and neglected. Additionally, communication was strange—there were no messages or updates via Booking.com, which is fine but felt odd.

The staff was very friendly and welcoming, which created a pleasant atmosphere. The hotel has a charming, old-school interior with an interesting design, especially in the hall, which is accompanied by lovely music. The rooms were spacious, and the breakfast was okay, offering enough to start the day. Overall, the hotel has a warm, nostalgic vibe, which some may find quite appealing.

The bathroom in my room could use a little work. It was hard to keep the tiny shower from leaking all over the floor.

I loved the vintage luxury vibe. The lobby, bar, dining area, and grounds were beautiful. The outdoor pool was stunning.

Breakfast was quite uniform with no choice for people with certain dietary restrictions eg. gluten free. There were no labels on the foods, what they were, whether it was chicken, pork, or whether the cheese was cow or goat. This has been a problem for me as I have not been able to follow the prescriptions given to me in terms of food.

The staff was very polite and helpful. Very good customer service. The pools are lovely, big enough for more people and clean.

The cheaper single rooms have a very old moldy tiny shower with old plumbing. The water pressure in our rooms was low. Sometimes during our meals (half board) we seemed to be invisible to the waiters

Dinner and breakfast were below average. I have stayed in many 5 star hotels, but for the first time experienced charging extra for fried eggs! As for the dinner - serving the same side dishes with beef and with fish is not really 5* cooking.

Very nice hotel with an amazing atmosphere. Ida is taking care about all details. After dinner event made our stay so special. Pool area( especially outside) is amazing. Veronica was so polite and professional during the breakfast and dinner. We will come again.😊

Hotel in general seems a bit old-fashioned and "dusty", but still quite comfortable. Working time of pool facilities can be longer, I would be happy if pool can be available for visit up to 23:00.
