How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
Guidelines and standards for Reviews
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.

Verified reviewWOW - it is truly outstanding abd a special place! The host Franco and his family were super-hospitable. The accomodation is upmarket, beautiful and very clean. The breakfast was sumptuous, delicious and had a great variety. Very centrally located : a 5 minute drive from the airport, the station is close by, and easy access to many interesting places to visit and so many things to do. Very grateful to have found this place - a real jewel, and we have booked for a further 3 days on our return journey next week.

Verified reviewWe had a late evening flight. We emailed Franco in advance and he waited for us till 1am!!!! Helped us with early morning transportation. Breakfast was waiting for us including gluten free because of diet restrictions. Coffee was great! The best thing was the room! So pretty and comfortable. We slept very good! Super clean, super cute! We were sad to leave. Big Thanks!

Verified reviewI was on a 16 hour layover and only stayed one night, but I wish I could have stayed longer. Franco and his family are so hospitable, the place is spacious and clean, the kitchen is well equipped and they went out of their way to help me get to the airport in the middle of the night. It’s a great place to have as a base to explore the surrounding area. The town is small and cute.

Verified reviewSince I had an early flight the next morning, I booked this B&B near Malpensa. Thanks to Franco for recommending the driver service—it was reasonably priced, and Fiorenzo made the short 10-minute ride enjoyable with his friendly tour. The B&B was spacious, very clean, and beautifully decorated. I had a wonderful night here, and the next morning, Franco prepared a generous breakfast to see me off. I’ll definitely stay here again!

Verified reviewOur stay at Trevisan was truly wonderful. The house is quiet, clean, and nestled in a sweet, historic town surrounded by beautiful nature. The local cafes were great, serving the most delicious pasta with black pepper we've ever tasted. Verified reviewThe breakfast room is very cozy and warm hearted. Exquisite interior design as well as the rest of the resort, taken to the very small little detail. Very aesthetic place, pleasant attitude of the owners and a comfortable bed.
You need to get to the place by taxi, but the owner can give you the contact information for an excellent taxi driver.

Verified reviewEverything, the location is incredible. Tucked away near to the castle but convenient for walking around town or catching the train. Very near to the airport. The accomodation is impeccably clean and thoughtfully furnished. The best part are the owners, who are so kind and accommodating that it's a shame anyone visits Italy and doesn't get to meet them. They were so helpful to me when I needed help finding things in town and so kind and lovely at every turn. Providing great recommendations and assistance. I cannot say enough positive things about this place. Count yourself a lucky duck if you stay here.

Breakfast is very good. if you wanna feel yourself as part of Italian family, feel italian culture, wanna feel yourself like you are in small Italian town this is place for you. it is best choice. I was very glad to meet the family. Franco (father) asks you every morning what would you loike to have for breakfast, extreamly clean place, close to church, to main sighseeings etc.
