How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
Guidelines and standards for Reviews

Everything was excellent.
The location is very good - close both to the station and the centre. The flat is modern, spacious, fully-equipped with all necessities. It is maintained to the highest standards of cleanliness.The communication with the host was very easy - he is very responsive and helps a lot. Breakfast is amazing - with a variety of choices. It will delight even the most selective tastes. If I had the chance to stay in Verona again, I wouldn't change this place.

Although the name of the property is "Bed and Breakfast", there was no breakfast. However, the owner informed us about this aspect after the reservation. The price remained unchanged. Outdated furniture Noisy during the night

Simple, modern, high quality furnishing and apliances. Clean, quiet and safe place. Friendly and helpfull assistance from the staff. Breakfast ok. We would recommend it to friends and family.

We stayed for a night and would love to have stayed for longer. The room was lovely, the beds very comfortable, and the hosts friendly and helpful. Breakfast was also very good, and the air conditioning was a life saver given the 35 degrees temperature outside. It was also conveniently close to the train station. If we come back to Verona we'll make a point of staying here again!

Our stay was only three nights, should of stayed longer in this location!
The staff was super courteous from arranging our early arrival to making each morning special for us. Special thanks to Angela. Breakfast was much more then other five places that we stayed in on this trip.

The accommodation was great, clean and cosy. The location is extraordinary, it is only 10-15min walking to the city centre and 10min to the main train station. Angela was a great cook and made us feel at home.

Owner Claudio gave us a super interesting introduction to Verona History. Angela is an angel. Did everything for us: special breakfast, kind chat, store baggage. Nice small breakfast room with cozy furniture.

The only downside was that we ran out of hot water in both days, in the end of the last bath. As we were four, the last person would end up either with pure cold water or without enough hot water for a proper bath, just maybe a short one.
Room size was good, the kitchen was well equipped and the beds were very good, with great pillows. It was a great room for two adults, a child and a baby in his crib. The bedroom was great and well separated from the bedroom. The blinds were awesome and we had no trouble with daylight, even with kids. The parking spot was located in an underground parking for the whole building, so it was extremely secure. It was a very short walk from the parking building to our room, no big issue even with a stroller and bags to carry around. Also, the staff was amazing.

Everything about my experience was exceptional! The kind hearted people who run this bed & breakfast are wonderful and go above and beyond to make your stay comfortable. Breakfast was delicious and convenient; great start to your day. I will definitely being staying here again the next time I’m in Verona and would recommend to anyone!

I loved my stay, but one minor suggestion is to add high chairs for babies and toddlers. Overall, I had an excellent time and would definitely return.
We had a wonderful stay at this B&B, which was perfectly suited for our family with a toddler. The room was spacious and clean, and the hosts kindly provided a cot for our baby. The location was ideal, within walking distance to popular attractions and just 10 minutes from the main train and bus station. Angela and her team were fantastic hosts, going above and beyond to make us feel welcome. Angela's delicious homemade cakes at breakfast every morning were a highlight of our stay. We also appreciated her kindness in allowing us to use the microwave after we had checked out. Overall, we highly recommend this B&B for families and anyone looking for a warm and welcoming place to stay.

A bit complicated way to a parking, but it is understandable as the city is old. For me, the pillow was too big so I couldn’t sleep very well but I guess that is very individual.
Everything you can need is there. Good location, very kind and generous host. Breakfast was very good too.

Really friendly and helpful hosts. The room was spacious and clean with a large bathroom. Enjoyed the breakfast provided. Was great that the host arranged a secure car-parking space adjacent to the property. The property is a short walk from the center of Verona.
