  “During our long journey from Italy to Greece, we stayed at several places, including some agriturismos. Agriturismo biologico Poggiopiano is, without doubt, among the top two we visited. The location is enchanting, surrounded by olive groves and vineyards, and incredibly peaceful, despite being so close to Florence. Just for the setting and the beauty of the place, it would already deserve a 10, and when you add the friendly, helpful, and highly professional staff, it’s impossible to give anything less. The small plates with appetizers and treats offered are delicious, and the wine they produce is simply fantastic. I still can’t decide whether the "Voce alla Terra" or the "Riserva" is the farm’s best wine. A wonderful experience that we will definitely repeat.”

  “Grace was a wonderful host and made us feel very welcome. The B&B is in a beautiful location, set amongst olive trees on the hillside. It was a real treat to sit by the pool and relax during the day. In the evenings we caught the bus into Firenze, it runs every 30 minutes from the bottom of the hill. We had a car and used this to drive up and down the hill as it’s quite steep and would take a good 20 to 30 minutes on foot. The road is narrow, so drive with care. The bus takes about 20/25 minutes to get the centre of Florence.”
