“A nicely maintained older hotel with truly phenomenal views. We chose this location as a stopover on our way from Livorno, where we arrived by ferry. I highly recommend it, especially in the summer, as the higher altitude brings slightly cooler temperatures. The village is charming and offers pleasant walks. It also has a good restaurant and a small shop. The hotel features a lovely small pool as well. For us, it was a truly positive experience.”
“House is lovely. Situated in a woodland setting with views of the valley and the nearest village, where there is a lovely pizzeria. House is very comfortable with comfy sofas, a lovely well-equipped kitchen, a large kitchen table, as well as useful outdoor seating areas, including in the garden and on the balcony of the upper floor. Beds are comfortable and lovely shower is just what's needed after a hot, sunny day. Nice touches we appreciated included having soft throw blankets for the sofas while flopping at the end of a day of sightseeing, and having a selection of seasoning, spices, rubs etc in the kitchen. For families, a washer and separate drier is always a bonus. We were very happy here and were grateful to have good WIFI and the option of watching smart TV, of which there are three.”
