“Monteborre is a beautiful property in a central location for visiting Modena, Ferrara and Bologna. Alessandro is a fantastic host and willing to help with anything. Breakfasts were fantastic, cooked to order with lovely homemade cakes and the pool was great for a dip after a long day sightseeing. The setting is beautiful, next to the family vineyard and very quiet. We loved our stay.”

“Even though it may look a bit strange or neglected from the outside, inside the hotel looks brand new and is equipped properly. The staff spoke English, there was parking space available in a small backyard as well as on the street. The place offers breakfasts, but we did not try them. The staff recommended some restaurants for a dinner. Location is very close to the old part of the city centre (5 mins. by walk), and there are also two large superkmarkets less than a 5 mins. drive away.
