    “We loved our stay here. The staff and owner were very friendly, happy to talk and give local guidance. Our room faced the lake so we had exceptional views. We ate at the restaurant one evening which we also enjoyed. This was more than we'd normally spend on a hotel, but we expected Lake Como to be expensive. It was a treat, and we took full advantage of being able to swim from the private beach. We also found Bellano to be a great place, off the beaten track but still with the charm of being on Lake Como.”

    “Our 3 nights at Villa Rêverie were amazing. The rooms were modern, comfortable, well equipped, and the staff are all very helpful and kind. They were there to assist with any questions. On our first night, the hotel manager organised a transfer to their restaurant in Varenna, overlooking Lake Como. Definitely recommend doing this. The rooms were cleaned daily and turned down in the evening. The train station is about a 5 minute walk away which you need to get to for travel between different areas of lake Como, the ferry terminal and restaurants are another 5minute walk from there but all easily accessible. The staff were kind enough to lend us umbrellas as needed given it was raining the whole time. The breakfast was great and the waitress was lovely, she also served us drinks on the balcony overlooking the lake each night before dinner and it was 10/10 service.”

    “The location is perfect. Everything is on your doorstep. 2 min walk to the ferry terminal, 3 min walk to the entrance to the gorge, 7 min to the train station/bus station, and a cafe in the courtyard right by the apartment. 2 big bedrooms, nice beds, and good size open living kitchen area. Washing machine was a great bonus.”

    “This place has an amazing view and a great small terrace. Great for 2 people, for 4 it was too small. It is quite far away from the town so you need to be ready for a walk uphill. Also driving uphill by car is for experienced drivers, but it was the acceptable price for that view. Very kind staff.”

    “Great location, easy access, safe car park, swimming pool with great views. Host speaks english and met us later in the evening with all the instructions and recommendations of what to do around. Spacious rooms and very clean apartment. The dishwasher is a big bonus, and kitchenware is fully equipped. If you need something, you just text the host, and it will be done for you in a minute. We ran out the toilet paper, and after texting to the host we got new roll withing seconds. We asked them to swith off the light in the garden and it was done imidiately. They really care about their guests. 10min walk to the town centre in a lovely narrow streets. Wonderful view from every corner Highly recommended!”
