“Historic place, fantastic location – the main highlight of the city, the Rocca Abbaziale, is just around the corner, as well as the maze of narrow streets and stairs that are so characteristic of this town and so loved by the artists of the Grand Tour! Breakfast in a hall with important frescoes, including rare female putti decor; a few other beautiful halls (with beautiful antique pianos that are not in order, though…); a small private garden. My room was called “Tosca”, in tribute to its plot, and contained a true museum display with pottery shards, coins, pieces of old interior decoration, and antique books…”
