“A beautifully restored palazzo, set atop a hill, overlooking surrounding hills & farmland. The palazzo has been in the host’s family for over 1000 years. Its a fascinating & much treasured historic building, with tastefully renovated modern bathrooms and modern bed mattresses (firm), in beautifully restored antique bed frames. The host and his daughter were very welcoming and friendly (without being at all intrusive). Our dog was made welcome too! We enjoyed sitting on the terrace soaking up the beautiful view. The palazzo is a well-run bed and breakfast. A friendly local bar served us a refreshing aperitivo. The host kindly booked us dinner in a nearby restaurant. A continental breakfast with coffee was served in the dining room. We enjoyed socialising with other guests and the hosts over breakfast. The palazzo has been tastefully renovated, with a fresh, yet historic feel. The whole experience of staying there was very special. We will return again!”
