Lovely stay and enjoyed watching the cows in their barn from the restaurant while having breakfast and petting them afterwards 😀great location - Close to Myvatn baths, pseudo craters etc

The farm, the food, the room.

Nice staff, good breakfast, good location.

Property is in an excellent location for exploring the area. The restaurant was delicious. Room was clean and comfortable but nothing special.

There is no soundproofing whatsoever. I listened to the guy in the next room snore all night which was extremely annoying.

A very unique property. Food was good. Lived seeing the cows.

Food service was lacking and seemed unorganized.

The meal was delicious, and the staff was kind. Children could also see cows milking up close. It was a great experience.

The room was a good size, central location & includes breakfast and the option for dinner. Dinner was very nice but in the expensive side. There is a lounge area where you can relax & even watch the cows being milked.

As they are a farm they only provide cows milk & when I asked for soy milk due to allergies there are no options. They have a proper coffee machine but it’s not available for breakfast & the rooms don’t have a fridge. We rang to see if we could check in at 2pm instead of 3pm & the staff refused to find out if the room would be ready.

A fantastic, hearty breakfast in their pretty restaurant overlooking cows and farmland was included. Everything else was fine.

The guest rooms are expensive ($385 USD) and they are located across the highway from the cute restaurant/farm. They are fine but basic, with thin walls and small bathrooms. No fridge or TV and (except for the last room in each 4-plex) they all overlook the parking area out of the only window.

Excellent location (right by the big volcano), excellent food, beautiful rooms

Just a note for people who want to stay here next: the rooms are in a different location than the location where the restaurant and the cows are. A five minute walk and a one-minute drive

The restaurant at Vogafjós is amazing, both for breakfast and dinner. Our room was comfortable and we had enough space for luggage. The bathroom had convenient shelves for all our toiletries, and the shower had a curb and curtain to prevent the whole room from getting wet when we used it.

The rooms are unreasonably noisy. We could hear all the rooms surrounding us.

Such a unique stay. Room was clean and a fun aesthetic. Restaurant is phenomenal. Great location.

Didn’t love that the rooms were across the street but not a huge deal.
