Beautiful view. Quiet and peaceful town. The living room was comfortable.

Didn’t like the room in the basement, not enough ventilation. Abit scary to sleep there and it’s has to up and down thru the toilet. The bedroom upstairs was spacious but go to bed and get up of bed will hit the roof because it’s at the Attic. The ladder or stairs is not easy to use. End up my friends slept in the living room on the sofa.

Large house on the shores of northern Iceland. Amazing views of snow-capped mountains even in the summer and a perfect garden, BBQ pit and terrace to enjoy. The basement room was cosy, while the upstairs beds were well-spaced. I highly recommend staying here!

The old layout of the house was confusing at first—especially the narrow stairs leading to the basement and shower. But a little extra care when walking up and down is all you need.

"Home with a view" is a little bit of an understatement. The view is absolutely breathtaking and even though our was slightly spoiled because of the weather (it was very cloudy and raining), it was still beautiful. The house is very spacious with few secrets along the way (I'm not gonna reveal them, so you'll can feel adventurous :)), there was everything we needed and more (due to weather conditions we didn't get to try the barbecue and the terrace). Everything was clean and tidy. I'd definitely recommend.

Taking a shower might be a little challenging, especially for taller guests, but it's nothing major.

Beautiful views from a peaceful and awesome location. The host was super friendly and helpful. Easy Check in and check out through key safe. Nice authentic Icelandic home on the fjord.

The stairs to the shower and master bedroom went through the bathroom and are super steep and we had to duck (almost crawl) down the stairs so not ideal for tall or big people. But all this was well-described on booking so we knew what we signed up for.

What are great stay, it has everything you need. Great view and we saw 5 cruise ships from the backyard towards the ocean during 2 nights stay. Hoste is easy to communicate and super nice, we couldn’t find cooking oil and laundry detergent, he delivered and left at the front door. Note: if you need additional washing room (W.C) . There is a public one only less 100 meters away, open for 24 hours, very clean.

be extremely careful on the stairs. It is difficult to reach the shower, which is in the basement. I guess the dryer needs to be fixed because it couldn't dry properly

Incredible waterfront cottage where the kids could play ball while we watched for whales. Absolutely stunning.

We appreciated the second entrance for the basement bedroom, as the stairs are quite steep for older people (my mother). We greatly appreciated having the opportunity to wash and dry our clothes, but perhaps instructions for the dryer would be helpful, as we couldn’t get them dry on the time we were there overnight.
