It would have been ideal having an ensuite however they were all booked already. And it wasn't that big of a deal sharing facilities since they were so clean!

The host communicated with us in a very timely manner and greeted us when we arrived. It was cozy and clean and had kitchen facilities we could use and that helped us save some money. And the location was excellent! Our room was supplied with a kettle and a selection of teas which was a nice touch and we had our own sink.

Exterior looks slightly run down, but dont judge a book by its cover. It is wonderful inside.

Location: very close to a gorgeous area Accommodating: owner met us late, provided a wonderful overview of the area and the amenities in the residence Cleanliness and design: beautiful interior rooms and bedding. Comfortable bed. It is a shared space with shared bathroom and shower, but extremely clean and well kept.

The lady who greeted us at the door was very friendly. Our room was also surprisingly big yet cozy. Everything, including the shared bathrooms, were clean. I was worried that we would need to fight for the bathrooms/shower, but that was not the case! There was always a bathroom available. The kitchen and cooking ware/utensils were clean. I loved playing with the dogs on the property; they were super friendly. We didn't have time to hang with the goats but maybe next time!

It’s a ten minute drive to Vik from here so you’ll need a car if you plan to drive to and from the town

Nice cosy bedroom. Bathroom facilities were clean. The countryside setting is breathtakingly beautiful. Loved the two dogs and cat on the property too.

Loved the location and outlook to either glacier or beach. Appreciated being able to cook our own dinner after a long day and loved getting some clothes washed.

Guesthouse in a quiet scenic location outside Vik and close to Reynisfjara beach with a view of Myrdal Glacier. The room was comfortable and of a reasonable size with a relaxing view of the countryside. The owner was very friendly and allows guests to cook their own food in a kitchen downstairs. A car would be required to get here.

Beautiful location! Very comfortable accomodations! Host stayed up late to greet us and gave us great recommendations for things to do and see in the area! We also lived being greeted by the host’s dogs and cat!

Gorgeous guest house in a fantastic location. Einar and Ragga are fabulous hosts providing detailed information on the local area before and during your stay. Loved being greeted by their affectionate dogs and cats on arrival, and they also have goats! Comfortable and spacious room with stunning views. Shared bathrooms were well stocked and with a toilet on both floors and a sink in the room there were no issues sharing, same for the kitchen. Hope to stay again on our next trip!

A very pleasant stay — the room was clean, cosy, and quiet, with lovely views. Everything was well-maintained, and the location was perfect for exploring the area. The owner was incredibly kind and friendly. Interacting with the family’s animals (dogs, cats, sheep, and goats) was a real treat, and the kitchen was very well equipped.

Very cute and comfy, the owners were very kind, attentive, and hospitable. There are adorable, friendly dogs, cats and farm animals on the property that we got to see. I would absolutely recommend it to anyone!
