It was quite clean but could have used minor cleaning every day in the lobby.

Great place close to golden circle. Exactly how it’s described. The standout thing for me was then breakfast which they had from 7-10am. The washroom was shared but we had no problem accessing it.

The shared kitchen looked and felt a bit “sad” overall (the worst we experienced in Iceland). Also, the property did not communicate with us timely and we were not shared any information on how to self check-in. Upon asking other guests, we managed to get in touch with the property and someone showed up to finally let us in our room. As avid travelers, we kept our cool and managed to solve the issue relatively quickly, but it might have caused much more distress in a less expert traveler. Very bad job this time around.

Really spacious room and good location & view. Shared toilet was alright and did the job. We did love the breakfast, very rich and perfect to kickstart a day of sightseeing.

We were three persons but they provided only one towel for three. There was nobody in the reception to ask for our needs. Tolilets and showers were not so neat.

Self check in details are clear. Small but neat room, breakfast is exceptional. Each bed has charging point.

Breakfast was buffet style, was excellent, and was served in a location different from the common kitchen. The facility was clean and well ventilated. The rooms were large. There were mirrors, a desk, two single beds, a chair, and a very comfortable armchair

Only one toilet in the middle of the shower room

I was in the tents at the back. It was lovely and cozy, bed was v comfortable and there was a heater. I had to move tents because mine was leaking but it was sorted quickly and easily once I found the staff. Breakfast was good

The bathroom. First of all, it was not so easy to find as there was no clear marking. More importantly, it was filthy. There were spider webs, the toilet was flooded and overall it was quite a scary experience.

The bed was relatively comfortable and the breakfast was nice.

The booking or the host didn't accept our payment from the first time, so we had some problems with registration. But I don't know which problem is that, it might be Booking fault.

The hostel is located not in the city, but the location is good. We stayed for one night and then returned on our way back for another night) The kitchen is clean and convenient. The personal is helpfull when we needed. Everything was good!

On our floor, there were only WCs. The only shower room, as far as we could see, was in the souterrain, where the kitchen is. Not sure how this would work when the place is even half fully booked.

If you like things a tiny bit weird, this one's for you. It's a big old school house complete with a piano and a reverse strung guitar and old furniture and pics. Our room was big and spotless, and there is a big kitchen down stairs, same level ad the only showers. The views are just stunning. Only 3 of the 20 or so rooms were occupied, so we had the place to ourselves.

Seems part of the unit is used as a church or something? It wasn't in use when we were there. The shower was a smaller plastic insert type shower. Not fancy, but worked fine and was clean.

This guesthouse is set in a serene location above a lake and with pine trees (rare in Iceland). We stayed in the winter and there was hardly anyone there which we actually liked. The house is next door to some very cool geodomes that were fun to look at. The beds were very comfortable and the room was spacious. We loved the large window with a view as well. Kitchen downstairs was well equipped and spacious. There were multiple bathrooms on each floor and they were clean.

Showers were only on the first and ground floor, so we had to go down to shower which was not ideal. Kitchen has a strange smell and didn’t feel very clean.

Good location, and the room at beautiful views. Kitchen is well stocked and has many tables to sit at. Bathroom is fine.

WiFi didn't work on the first floor and had very weak signal in the basement floor. No showers on the first floor. Not enough bathrooms for fully occupied accommodation.

Had a cold Amityville feeling, showers were all over, the guest kitchen in the cellar was dark and power worked on a timer button.

The shared kitchen was working but the hob was difficult to use and some lights where not working in the kitchen. Also the fridge was not really strong at keeping the food fresh.

A nice place near Thingvellir. The breakfast was included and was really good. The bed was comfortable.
