The sunrise mist over the lake will remain as one of the most emotional picture I'll ever remember, about my Iceland journey. Well placed, at half hour driving from Geysir, ten minutes driving to Bruarfoss waterfall or one hour driving from Pingvellir national park, H. Laugarvatn have been our best travelling starting point along our stay there. Free coffee or tea in breakfast area. There is also a fuel station nearby and thermal baths at walking distance. Enjoy.

It is true that we had coffee icluded but had to walk to the other building. A kettle and 2 cups in the room would have been better.

The room has few places to put your luggage except on the floor. Bathroom has a very tiny sink mostly taken up by the faucet. Room could get hot even with the small higher windows open if the sun shines through the big picture windows.

Location near the Golden Circle attractions. Great view of the lake from the window. Good breakfast. Clean and comfortable bed.

Wall may be a bit thin

Looks newly redone on the inside. They have windows that open. Small room but everything I needed plus a great view of the lake. Dinner was yummy as well

There was a lot of noise from the hallways and one night a guest set off the fire alarm. The bathroom needs a fan.

The hotel is ideally located along the Golden Circle ring road, making it a convenient stop for travelers. It’s popular and well-frequented, creating a lively and welcoming atmosphere. I love their soap in the bathroom. Really nice brand. Dinner at the hotel is delicious and reasonably priced. Breakfast is simple but satisfying, and complimentary coffee is a nice touch. Guests can unwind in the cozy “living room” area—a peaceful spot to sit back and relax. Overall, it’s a comfortable and pleasant place to spend a or two night during your journey.

There is no one at the front desk, you have to call a customer service number to get someone to come and help you.

Great location on the Lake and we had a room with a view. Breakfast was excellent and we dined in the resturant where we had a very nice dinner. Not far to walk to the hot springs. A short drive to Geysir and Gullfoss. Check in process was simple

Room was bright, bathroom was large. Nice to have a restaurant. We did not eat there but did get a drink. Nice to be able to get coffee. Free and easy parking. Great place to stay on our way to the Geysir Geothermal area and Gullfoss Falls.
