The location was perfect for us and for our travel plans. It was also perfect because the setting was so beautiful. The guesthouse was clean, spacious, and lovely. On our next trip we will definitely want to stay there again!

Low ceilings and doors at some places, so you'll need to be careful to not knock your heads.

Bathroom facilities were great. We saw horses up close to the fence, a goose, 2 cats outside the house, and a huge friendly dog that entered the house to greet all of us. We like how pretty the dishes and cups are, as well as the decoration and vibes in the house. Towels were nicely laundered with a nice smell.

The only thing that came to mind for us would've been more toilet paper available if there were more guests. Or some more seasonings in the pantry, as we decided to cook dinner one night here! It all worked out just fine and it's extremely minimal for how amazing the stay was.

Upon travelling to 10+ countries and staying in various b&bs, this one is one of the most memorable - easily! The house is situated nicely between Reykjavik and Vik, and was perfect for our short weekend in Iceland. The house also was easy to find on Apple Maps. We had 4 people total and felt like this place offered plenty of space, and having 2 bathrooms was a big plus! We thought that the place looked even better in person than the pictures, too! And it was priced well compared to other hotels in the area. Hot tub was fantastic. Such a nice thing to get into after a long day of travel and jetlag. The house is adorable, cozy, well-decorated, and so unique! The property itself is gorgeous too. Bonus - there were horses nearby! Truly a memorable stay and in a super convenient location for our trip. I couldn't recommend it more!

An absolutely quaint farmhouse! We loved everything about it! Surrounded by horse farms but yet very private. It’s like finding a diamond in the rough! The bonus for us was seeing the Northern lights and the amazing sunset from behind the house! So exciting, my adult children have never seen the Northern lights!

Our group likes to cook when we stay at rentals. If I were to give any constructive feedback, I would say it would be great to have some additional skillets and some food storage containers for leftovers. Also, unless I just missed it, a freezer would be nice.

The house is adorable. I appreciated the use of the washer/dryer; the hot tub was lovely; location was beautiful; and the second/outdoor bathroom was great. It came in really handy since there were four of us. Also, communication with the host was exceptionally easy.

Everything! Beautiful well appointed farm house and felt like we were walking into someone's full-time home. So many personal touches from the bed spreads to the dishes in the kitchen. We had more than what we needed, and loved that there were horses all around the property. You can tell the hostess cares a great deal about making your stay memorable. Hope we have a chance to come back!

Since the temperatures were in the 20c's it can get quite warm in the cottage. We opened some of the windows and it helped. Also, having a freezer would help long-staying guests.

The directions to the house could be better because the road that the house is on is not a road according to google maps. So google maps told me to drive in another road and then walk from there. But we figured it out quickly

Jóhönnu Hús was wonderfull. The house has a very stylish blend between modern and vintage looks. All bedrooms were nice. The master bedroom has a really good feel, windows almost all around and a door to get the the porch. Both indoor and outdoor bathrooms are really nice and the outdoor bathroom has clearly been renovated recently and is very nice. The living room is very cozy and the kitchen great, with probably all the utensils you need. When we came the hottub was already full with hot water at the perfect temperature so it was ready right at the start. The laundry room is next to the outdoor bathroom and has everything you need. The garden is very beautiful with 2 swings and a few more items for the kids. The surrounding area is mostly farmlands with horses running around and the horses even come up to the fence next to the house and are very beautiful. Definitely recommend staying here and the host was great and very easy to talk to.

The 2’d bathroom is outside and floods when you shower. The house was too hot and we tried to message the host to ask how to turn it down/cool it, and they never responded.
