The cottage is small and simple. The bathroom/lavatory is very small.

Location is excellent. The view is nice with quiet surrounding areas.

This was the only stay in our two weeks around Iceland where the included breakfast did not include any eggs or warm foods. The bathroom offers no storage or hooks for towels.

Breakfast was very limited comparing to other accommodations we stayed with less price per night. Maybe adding some more things to choose from such as boiled eggs and croissants would be good.

Beds were separated in two different corners. Felt like hostel when we entered the room. But beds can be moved easily.

It is a shared bathroom, but you have a sink in your own room, so only toilet and shower are shared with one other room. Great restaurant with local products. Close to Fjaðrárgljúfur gorge.

Lack of light in the rooms and quite far. Considering that it was the most expensive hotel I paid during my trip in Iceland (almost twice compared to other similar hotels), I was expecting something much better and not just an average hotel

The shower recess was way too small. I could hardly turn around in it. There was no way I could have washed my hair, flat out washing my body.

The country atmosphere Our cabin was comfortable but a little small but ok for the one night we stayed. Restaurant was great. We really enjoyed our meals. Breakfast was supplied and it was really nice and plenty of it.

I would consider adding blinding curtains to the room's windows.

Everyone was very kind and welcoming. The location is really nice and very close to one of the main attractions in the area. Our room was nice and we had a private sink too. The bathroom was only shared with another couple so we never had to wait. The breakfast was good and served in a lovely common area! The restaurant is also delicious and worth a try!

Because the entire house is madе out of thin wood it may be quite noisy if the guests in the other room are not quite. The hot watter comes from a boiler in the bathroom so you have to be quick with the shower.

Extremely polite staff! We had a room in a house of two rooms and one bathroom with toilet. The room was very small, but very cute-with small table and chairs next to the window. The room also had a sink and a tap. The bathroom was very and warm.

The room was the smallest I’ve stayed in Iceland. Very nice concept but the room could be bigger for the price paid.

You will need to bring your eye mask during summer as there are no block out curtains and the sun doesn’t set for long during the night.

Restaurant on site was perfect, highly recommend the lamb. Nice staff. They were able to store a small bag of refrigerator food and ice pack. Breakfast was exceptional. Close to amazing gorge hike. Elf homes on site too!

There was nothing not to like.

One of us suffers from celiac ( gluten) and the staff was so careful that she did not get any gluten in her food and even provided gluten free bread for breakfast.

Excellent guesthouse with very nice room and setting. The on-site restaurant is excellent and the staff could not be any better. One of the best facilities that we stayed in during our Iceland adventure. The only downside was the breakfast, nothing hot served. The breakfast was basically ham, cheese, cereals. I was expecting at least boiled or scrambled eggs since the restaurant for dinner was so good.
