Limited options for going out in Grindavik at the moment.

Cottage was beautiful and very cozy. Great location close to Blue Lagoon. A little harder to get other places due to road closures after recent seismic activity and Grindavik feels a little post-apocalyptic as it reopens. But also somehow totally serene. Magical visit.

The sulfur smell can be overwhelming depending on the wind.

Property was very clean and located in a quiet setting with a great view of the Harbour. Tiny house was plenty big for two people and even had enough space for another couple to join us for drinks and to enjoy the view.

Beautiful, cosy and very clean cottage. Double bed sofa was surprisingly very comfy so I had a very good sleep. Highly recommend it

Grindavik is a very unique place and these cottages are a clean and comfortable way to visit. The cottage is an east place to relax and it's better than having a hotel

Bedroom area very small: bed only accessible from one side. Ok for a couple, able to store luggage in lounge area, bit tight for a larger group.

Would have liked outdoor furniture. Location wise the town is dead. Food opens at late times (5-10pm).

Location to the harbour was directly outside your window. Spacious sleeping area with door. Kitchen area came with hot plate and pots to be used. WiFi router in each cottage. Black out shades for midnight sun. Free parking.

The windows were dirty. The best thing about the cottage was the views, but the windows were not clean.

I really only wish there were some built-in speakers or even a portable bluetooth speaker or some way to easily play some relaxing tunes. We didn't really investigate the tv, so maybe there was an option there, but we were more interested in making some tea to sit and read or enjoy the scenery. Also, the bedroom reading lighting was a bit harsh.

Loved the cabin layout, location, and views. Really cozy and comfortable stay. Everything was clean and ready for us to drop in, relax, refresh and figure out where we wanted to explore next. The radiant heated floors and towel heater were especially nice. Great location too, secluded enough to not be swarming with people, but close enough for a short drive to all kinds of Icelandic highlights, and a quick drive from the airport to unwind from travelling.

Wather... but... it's hard to fix!

Great staff, attentive and helpful. Beautiful location in abamdoned town, and driving through fresh lava to get here was amazing, even for somebody living just 30 m away. So clean and perfect, amazing view and easy to get in side with keyebox on every cottage. Housekeeping and towels available up on request, and staff super kind and helpful. Highly recommended, both to fellow Icelanders and guests coming from farther away. Exceeded all expectations. Seems to be suitable also for pple recovering from mold illness, cir mcs and those sensitive to emf , you know who you are :)
