Can't beat the great location and good value. It's not the Ritz Carlton but I knew that going in. Its super clean and well maintained.

Very clean room. Comfortable bed. Location was excellent, right across the street from Bus Stop 8. My room was on the side street, so quiet at night. The shared bathrooms were clean and roomy enough.

This guesthouse is functional enough with shared bathroom and kitchen. plus it’s just right at church and 1 min walk to bus stop 8 (airport pick up/drop off by bus); also walkable to BSI terminal for tours.

I've stayed at Guesthouse Sunna several times now, and every single time they have been absolutely AMAZING!! They always exceed my expectations, and recently helped me out with a little Youtube project I'm working on. Excellent staff, great place to stay, centrally located, and quiet at night. A complaint common to many establishments- the rooms are not light proof and at night, even with blackout blinds down and curtains drawn, bright light leaks in all over the place, especially through the door cracks and the inevitable slivers uncovered by blinds and drapes.

Everything is just as I rated- excellent. This is our 4th stay there and we’d never go anywhere else. It is extremely conveniently situated, simple but clean, comfortable and gemütlich. Breakfasts are excellent and staff are friendly, knowledgeable and kind. Could not recommend it more strongly and we have sent many others in their direction.

My room faced the afternoon sun and it heated up the room even with the window open. I had to get up couple times during night to adjust temperature in room needs thermostat on heat control.

Location excellent with free parking within 2 blocks from Hallgrimskirkja church short walk to everything you’d want to see. The place is super clean and well run.

It is in an excellent location. It is one block from Hallgrimskirkja Church and bus stop 8 which is at the church and is a pickup location for the tour companies as well as the airport Flybus. It is central to everything in Reykjavik.

The hot water for the tub in the bathroom on the second floor never got past warm even when allowed to run awhile whereas the shower in the second bathroom was quite hot.

There were so many things that I liked about my stay. Its central location was perfect for exploring the city. The breakfast buffet was excellent with lots of choices. I especially liked the fact that breakfast was available starting at 7:00am so I could get an early start to my day. I found that the kitchenettes on each floor very convenient for making a cup of tea, eating a take-away or just writing in my journal (my room did not have a desk). The Guesthouse had a very quiet atmosphere which I appreciated along with the free luggage storage room. I would definitely stay here again.

We keep coming back to the Sunna Guesthouse. It’s always quiet and convenient. The staff is helpful and easy going. There is a private parking space at the back, which makes things a lot more easier. Rooms are warm and insulated from the noise.
