Location peaceful and near center.Loved the place very near black sand beach and basalt columns and ViK

LOTS OF Flies in the kitchen .Must control with fly paper or clean kitchen well.Refrigerator is dirty , garbage must be covered.Other than that rooms bathrooms clean

The quality of the kitchen and dining area was a great surprise, as were the shower facilities (they have proper cubicles). The free coffee was a bonus too!

Overall, the guesthouse did the job. The room was comfortable, quiet, and had a nice view from the window. The dining room had everything we needed for cooking and eating, and the place was generally clean and peaceful.

On the downside, the shower was outside the room. It didn’t really affect our stay, but it should be made clearer when booking. The price also feels way too high for what it offers – although we know this is quite typical in Iceland.

The location is good.

The "privet bathroom" does not include a shower. If I had known this, I would have choose a different room.

Views position

Basic things were there for guests to use in the kitchen.

We really liked the facility - A good size room, kitchen and spacious dining hall. The owner was very responsive to our request of adding an additional mattress in the room, which really helped us a lot. Since it is very close to Reynisjfara Beach - location is perfect to visit Dyraholaey[Puffin watching] and black sand beach [Basalt column]

Recently fitted room with modern decor and en-suite toilet, as well as a great view over the bay. Large shared kitchen fully equipped and very quiet atmosphere all in all.

Room was clean, quiet and the beds were warm.

The bunk bed creaked a lot which was the only downside.

Our room was small but very functional. There were several shared bathrooms and showers on the floor and a big kitchen with a large shared dining area. I really enjoyed the shower at the end of the hallway with the view.

The property was clean and well taken care of. The location was so great and had all the necessary amenities

The room was nice and spacious with great views. We liked that the guesthouse requested guest to remove shoes before entering room areas. The common area was great for families with lots of space to relax and have family time. The coffee provided within the common area was excellent.

While the shared bathrooms were clean, it was something we were not used to in the past.

Great Guesthouse.

This place is very close to the Black Sand Beach, and some rooms even have views of this iconic site right outside the window. The rooms and shared bathrooms are very clean, and the communal kitchen is well-organized. There are ten rooms in total — it’s hard to believe that only one girl from the Catalonia region is keeping everything so spotless. Ten mins' drive to the town centre.

It's too pricy considering the facilities.

It was clean, in a good location and served the purpose.

I booked a room with a bathroom but the sink was insanely small and it didn’t have a shower, which I don’t feel was clearly stated and I wouldn’t have expected at this price point. The walls were very thin (which also meant there were quiet hours). Other, more affordable places had many more amenities… including breakfast.

Common area/kitchen was very comfortable and well appointed, location is amazing

outdoor area could be tidier! Everything inside was so well kept/mantained and it would make a big difference to have the outdoor match the indoor

Great location , well equipped kitchen

It’s not a very good value for money. Rooms a VERY basic and un personal. 2 toilets more quite many rooms Too expensive for what it is!
