On the floor I stayed, the toilet and showers were in the same room, which at times meant waiting or going to another floor when it was occupied. This was only a minor inconvenience when needing the toilet. On one night, the ground floor toilet was also out of order.

The room was clean, the Bonus supermarket was conveniently nearby, and the property was well located with easy access to public transportation. I was pleasantly surprised by the cleanliness maintained by the other occupants. The kitchen was well kept, and everyone was considerate in cleaning up after themselves and giving you space to cook. I really appreciated the complimentary locker service, which was very convenient when the room was not yet ready or after check-out when I still had some time before leaving.

Limited space and tools in kitchen for the whole hostel. No lift for moving our luggage to the 3rd floor.

Very useful for our one night stay. The beds were really comfortable and we had a nice private bathroom. There is a shared kitchen and seating area that works fine and are well equipped. Walking distance to the city center. The cleaning staff we met were very kind and smiling.

they didn't allow us to check out one hour later as we requested. We weren't able to check in until after 6 am and needed to check out at 10 am.

We only stayed here for 4 hours. We arrived at KEF at 4 am and needed a place to stay before we checked into our hotel which we had booked for 6 nights. We needed to check out by 10 am but didn't check in until after 6 am. I did inquire, before check in, for an 11 am check out but was not granted that request. Room was simple but perfect for just a few hours. It would have been way too small for us to stay for 6 nights but ideal for what we needed.

Great location for exploring Reykjavik, just on the edge of the town centre. Good room for the money we paid. Good communications re door codes and check in procedure.

Overall good room for this price. Nice for a short stay. Easy communication and very good and easy for late self check-in. There are lockers with codes for luggage that we used after we checked out - no issues.

I think it might useful to have staff in the morning as we arrived as I was not sure where to go and had no one to ask The staff communicated to us via messages and they were helpful and prompt but I think to have some one around just for a bit would help

A little loud if your room faces the street. Bring earplugs!

The location and facilities were perfect. Clean, well equipped kitchen, great location. I stayed at Dalur as well as Hotel Cabin, and Pavi was definitely the best of the 3. The lockers were handy (although almost full!) and sometimes the locks were a little finicky. The rooms were bright and spacious and bathrooms were clean. We had a great stay!

If you are staying longer, room should be cleaned after two days interval else it becomes dirty.

Property is located near to bus stop- 13. It’s well near to the downtown. Hostel is self serving. We checked in ourselves- owner sent the code and details in the message. Most of things are near by. We got all tour buses at bust stop-12 and that’s also nearby to the hostel. There are lots of seating area to eat your food. Also kitchen area is there to prepare your food. Overall its value for Money.

cleanliness of shower, black mold on shower cabins. In the kitchen, the cleaners were constantly opening the door to the street. It was very cold to cook or dining.

Somewhat far from bus terminal. The staircase had threadbare carpeting likely from guests lugging valises up and down. Constructive suggestion: perhaps install carpet protectors on middle of each step
