Wonderful, welcoming and ideal location - what an absolute gem of a find!

The pillows were very flat and bed mattress on the hard side. It was OK for us. We just used additional pillows from the other room.

Such a warm and cozy cottage. Bright and airy with excellent views. Well stocked. Washing machine was appreciated. Very warm! Farm dogs cute and friendly.

Take a while to get washing machine to work due to connection issue .

Cottage is spacious, clean with full kitchen and washing machine . There are horses, sheep and dogs too. Was able to see northern light on one of the night from cottage which was great !

Needed some reading lamps in the living room and a better reading lamp in the bedroom (just too dim).

Excellent cabin/cottage in the Reykholt valley. Very close driving distance to Borgarnes to stock up on supplies at the bakery, bonus and vinbudin. Exceptionally clean, comfy and amazing views down the valley.

Groceries are a 30 minute drive, so make sure you stop there before arriving at the cottage. But our host graciously shared her food with us when we arrived without any; an example of exceeding expectations.

Cottage is spacious, clean and comfortable. Host is super-friendly and went out of her way to make our stay fantastic. Location is quiet and surrounded by breathtaking natural beauty, with many interesting sites nearby: waterfalls, historic places, hiking, horseback riding, and a natural thermal spa. The birds and farm animals delighted us, and the cottage was equipped with everything we could imagine.

A very friendly welcome, a nice host, a large well-equipped house with a spacy living room that offers panoramic views; the bathroom, kitchen and bedrooms have all what's needed for a stay. Located at a farm with animals, close to major attractions (blue water waterfalls, recent lava fields etc.)

Can’t think of anything particular.

Warmly greeted by a family that are clearly experienced hosts. The house was ready on time and everything we expected was there. The property is well located for doing interesting day trips and is in a very beautiful farming area. When we weren’t sightseeing we really enjoyed just relaxing at the farm. Our 3 year old boy showed an interest in the lovely horses. Rebecca was so kind and brought one out to show him. It was a very sweet moment.

The kitchen would benefit from a microwave, but we obviously had no issues cooking with the oven instead.

The cottage was lovely, warm and cosy, a perfect bolt hole from the Icelandic weather. The location was brilliant - wonderful views across the valley to the mountain ranges beyond. The host was very friendly and welcoming, even making time to show us the sheep and lambs!

We spent 3 wonderful days at the cottage in October. As the weather slowed us down a bit, we were able to enjoy our time in the really cosy house and relax a bit. The house is very spacious and is tastefully decorated. Everything you need was there. We didn't want for anything. The owners are very accommodating and warm. We will be very happy to come back!

The only thing was a difficulty in contact the onwer to get the key, because the phone number of the booking is incorrect, but after we sent an email it was immediatly solved, and the host was very nice.

Very nice cottage in a quiet farm. Very nice rooms and living room, kitchen well equiped and with some essentials - coffee, tea, salt, sugar, etc Nice temperature inside the house. Parking just outside the house. Nice view of the countryside from the house
