Great property close to airport but quiet, comfortable beds and nice bathroom

There isn't a cooker hood over the stove. The laundry room has a musty smell.

Close proximity to the airport without the noise from the aircrafts. This apartment is an ideal choice for travellers who just arrived in Iceland. The house is very spacious. The large windows in the living room is fantastic, which allows us to view the northern lights in the comfort of the house. There are numerous sites of interest around the area. Keflavik is nearby so there is easy access to dining options. For those who prefer to cook, the supermarket is nearby too. In fact, you probably don't have to spend too much effort to stock up since there are plenty of cooking ingredients left behind by previous guests!

We travel often and I hardly ever write reviews but feel compelled to leave one for the hosts of this property. We LOVED these hosts!!!!!! Honestly, the best hosts we have ever encountered. Communication after booking, prior to check-in and while there was excellent and I could not ask for kinder, more prompt or attentive responses. We arrived on a very early morning flight with four children. The hosts were so unbelievably considerate and had an assortment of cereal and milk waiting for us. It's a great location to KEF and to the bridge between continents. Often photos will make a space look larger than it is but this home was very spacious for our family of six. It was very clean and very well stocked. If we ever make it back to Iceland we will definitely stay with these hosts again. Thank you so much for your kindness and hospitality.

We wished we'd had a baking pan or baking sheet for roasting in the oven. 🙂

Convenient, quiet location. Well-appointed. Comfortable beds! We especially liked the fact that the owner provided a variety of condiments and spices for cooking, and personal care items such as soap, hair and shaving products. The hot tub was a plus.

There was a constant sound/noise I couldn’t really determine what it was, it sounded like air blowing hard through a chimney .. (?) We were tired enough to sleep through so no worries 😄

It is very spacious, the big windows on the back, the jacuzzi, .. etc.

Ideal for an overnight stay, however, only 1 bathroom/wc which proved a bit of an issue for our group of 8 all trying to be ready to leave at 06.00!

Excellent accommodation. Nice large open plan kitchen and living area. Well equipped kitchen. Perfect for early morning airport departure.

The beds were kind of hard. The key lock box didn't work so we had to call the host and I am worried how much that international call is going to end up costing me but there was no other option.

The open living room was great and the hot tub was amazing and SUPER hot.

Perfect stay after a long travel day! Great communication with host, spotless home with all amenities available! Super quiet and peaceful location yet close to grocery stores and the airport. Will definitely return on our next visit to Iceland.

Great location and spacouse home with nice modern kitchen and huge lounging sofa with 3 bedrooms and 6 beds and even a crib. Easy auto check in, nice neighborhood, nice size lot so you dont feel like you're in the city and a hot tub that will have the gamer or puzle mind person at work to figure it out. I did and love the enginuity of it. We planned our first night at Ghost town because it's close to the airport, the bridge between two continents, the blue lagoon and the active volcano. Perfect for starting your adventure across iceland or if you only have a day or 2 layover. It was the perfect start to our 2 week adventure. 😀 Thank you guys

Thought it odd that there was no dishwasher but it didn’t affect our stay. Some of the pillows were a bit flat but that’s more personal preference.

Great property, very spacious, lounge was stunning. close to the airport. Loved the hot tub. Beautiful kitchen, great facilities and really nice to have some food essentials available.
