We were required to book two rooms when we only needed one. It felt like we paid for double charge.

Location is close to the glaciers. It is on a farm and by ocean.

Really small rooms, almost no space inside (od course on the trace You sleepe one night incone place) power charging are near the bed but... Near the ceiling so my phone have to hang on power cable.

Well located on the trace. Beautiful views from rooms, also nice restaurant on terrain

The diner menu was a it lean for our kids so we went to another place closeby, adding pasta would have made a difference

Siew note to the rating, I never give out a 10 and the 9 was not made because the other room (cabin) was not as good as the room in the large building due to matrasses and a bit smaller. Location is as good as you can be in that area of Iceland. Place was clean, quiet (important!) with friendly staff and a nice breakfast so we would all recommend it without hesitating

If you want to have dinner in their restaurant, you have to make a reservation. This is necessary because of the limited number of tables in order to the number of guests that can stay.

The room was very clean, small but functional. The restaurant serves great dinners (and desserts) and breakfast. The location was ideal for us . (close to diamond beach and the glacier)

The light in bathroom was low. We were a family of 4 and the kids were allocated another bedroom on booking.com and our room had 2 extra bunk beds. It was a cost we could have avoided but the kids were happy to have their own space.

Staff were professional and friendly and took time to address any question.

We were less impressed by the overall appearance of the property. Some areas felt somewhat makeshift or unfinished, while others seemed a bit dated—slightly detracting from the overall experience. With greater attention to detail, the guest experience could be significantly improved.

We would especially like to highlight the reception staff: exceptionally friendly, attentive, and solution-oriented. We felt welcome and well taken care of – a real plus that made the stay all the more pleasant.

The price, but everywhere is expensive in Iceland

Lovely location, with distant views of the icecap, and easily drive to Jotulscarlon Glacier Lagoon. Overall standard of hotel one of the best I stayed in Iceland. Dinner was very good indeed, friendly staff placed me where I had a view of the mountains and icecap.

We were advised the cabin had just been finished and may be some glitches so hopefully the following are now addressed: a correct shaped toilet seat is needed for the bowl; the black out curtains don't cover the window above the beds or the glass panel of the kitchen door; the window cill above the beds protrudes across where one of the beds is up against the wall making a safety hazard (perhaps some foam?) some hooks are needed in the bathroom. That said, the cabin was impressive and smelt of cut wood (in a good way!). There is free coffee in the restaurant area but it is a long walk to carry that back to the cabins (down a slope of uncompacted stones) so recommend putting tea and coffee in the cabins with some mugs- a kettle was provided.

The Guesthouse is located towards the beach and has a number of cabins. Ours was a new one with a great view out to sea. Free parking next to cabin with 3 min walk to main guest house where the restaurant is located. Staff were friendly. We booked for 8pm dinner and enjoyed the meal. We were advised to come for 8am breakfast to miss the rush and that seemed to work OK. Reasonable range of items and kept topped up. We also paid for some sandwiches to take away for lunch anzd they were tasty. The hotel was very busy with tour groups but if you can flex a bit, it doesn't matter. The cabin was very quiet which was much appreciated.

The food in the restaurant was good but nothing out of this world especially for the cost but considering the time we arrived there were no options close by that were still open. And for cost of the room, not sure if I would chose this hotel again if ever in Iceland.

The overall look of the lodging was nice. Room was comfortable as well as the shower. For the cost, I would expect a little more but location was good for us. The farm was really cute & it was nice to see the lamb & sheep.

Very basic cabin, no frills. World’s tiniest bathroom sink. Wished that they had a curtain or blind on cabin exterior door to block light. Couldn’t see myself in bathroom mirror because it was too high.

Nice farm setting on the sea. Staff accommodated early arrival. Reasonably comfortable twin beds. Good breakfast available for extra cost.

Lovely location with beautiful views of the surrounding (sea , meadows and mountains) . We were on our way following the ringroad 1 so we stayed just one night but I can imagine staying here more nights. I would recommend those driving east have breakfest as the next possible stop with some coffee is after two hours drive.
