The shower. It was free-standing with only a flimsy shower curtain that went around. When we used it, water got all over the bathroom floor. No fan either (a note was posted to open the window when showering - but then flying insects got into the bathroom. Really unpleasant bathroom experience. Please invest in a bathroom renovation for your guests.

The location is beautiful. We had to leave very early so didn't eat the breakfast, but saw it being laid out. It looked great and smelled divine (fresh bread of cake). The staff were very friendly. They make you feel at home. The bed was a memory foam-type mattress. It was quite comfortable! I slept great. Our room had glass doors overlooking green fields and sheep - beautiful and peaceful

We were in the lodge and the activity and kitchen facility was adjacent. Even tho the sign requested quiet between 11 pm and 6 am, there was a lot of noise at night.

Property pictures looked a little different then what we expected Not enough power outlets in room to recharge phones and cameras (We found only one near the floor) High cost.

Great breakfast , included in price, buffet with many choices. Room was very clean and quiet and had everything we needed including a mini fridge. . Bathroom was like new and beautiful with great hot shower. Building also had a common area that was equipped with a kitchen with microwave. Location within reasonable distance to many popular tour destinations. We enjoyed our stay!

Some of the buildings look dated and dreary on the outside. The inside of where we stayed was great. It was by far the most expensive place we stayed on the ring road, but of comparable appearance and amenities, so it seemed quite pricey.

The location was beautiful. Lots of birds singing. Very pastoral. The common kitchen actually was a nice concept - sort of like a retreat center.

The room is very small. The facility is very limited (no fridge, no coffee machine, no place to put things. The price was very high.

Our room was in a separate building to rear, the view from the window was of a concrete wall and drain. If you are giving me a room with such a dreadful view then tell me beforehand and charge me less. This building had the showers for the camping area and an unused bar. It felt like the whole site was a work in progress. Needs some clarity and some soul.

Excellent location. Breakfast was good. Shared kitchen facilities were excellent - plenty of amenities, including cutlery, crockery, serving and cooking utensils and access to a shared fridge. Room was comfortable.

Rooms were cosy but maybe a little too small with not much space for suitcases/unpacking. There wasnt much provided in the room like 2 towels for a night stay, no kettle or toiletries. Rooms were very warm and steamed up.

The kitchen was in a seperate building, which was unfortunate because of the rain. Also, that building was quite cold and the lights kept turning off every few minutes. The room was a bit small, no room for luggage. After a shower the entire bathroom floor was wet.

Just being nitpicky but one of the rooms was missing a glass shower partition.

Nice, cozy accommodation a short drive from Vik and Reynisfara beach. Very comfy rooms and beds. Coffee machine in the room with biscuits and chocolates was a very nice touch. The room also had a small fridge which was helpful. The lounge area had a pool table which kept the kids occupied. Self service beers and sodas were also available. We specially loved the shared kitchen facility. Kids loved the Table tennis table and dartboard in the evenings. The shared kitchen was very convenient and so useful for cooking our own meals for dinner as eating out in Iceland can get very expensive. The property is just far enough outside the city to be absolutely great for Northern lights viewing. We managed to see the Northern lights brightly and clearly right outside our room, which will always make Farmhouse Lodge so special to us.

We missed a refrigerator in the room. The bathroom was big but fludded easily. It had shower curtains. Never been a big fan of those in hotels.

We had a wonderful time at the Farmhouse lodge. We were travelling with a group of friends through South Iceland and stayed here for two nights. We had multiple rooms. Some of them with amazing views. We used the shared kitchen a few times and it was also perfect to sit together in the evening for a drink. The beds were comfortable. Some rooms were big some were little. Free coffee and tea in the lobby.

After a shower the room can get quite moist and humid. Since the room and bathroom share the same window, opening the window would also cool down the room a lot.

The room was very clean and spacious. Nice common area with complementary coffee and cookies. Close to Dyrhólaey and Reynisfjara.
