We had a wonderful stay at this cottage! The cottage was clean and stocked with everything we needed for a relaxing stay. The view outside was beautiful with sheep grazing in the field. The central location was perfect for golden circle attractions as well as a day trip to Landmannalauger. Would highly recommend this quaint cottage!

Bring your own shampoo and conditioner. During our 16-day stay in Iceland, this was our only accommodation that didn't provide them. Also, barbecue tools are provided, but they're in a drawer that's hard to find. Look for them above where the pots and pans are stored! The fridge also has no freezer for those travelers -- like us -- who bring along blue ice for their coolers.

The location was simply spectacular! Grazing sheep all around us and snow-capped mountains in the distance. The quarters are clean and cozy, and almost everything met our needs.

This place truly exceeded our expectations. It had absolutely everything we needed. The attention to detail was incredible, the space was beautifully clean, cozy, and perfectly equipped. What made it even more special was the beautiful natural setting. Waking up to the sight of sheep grazing just outside was magical. We felt at home from the moment we arrived. Highly recommended!

I like EVERYTHING - newly built accomodation which couldn't be better. Tastefully decorated and equipped, VERY clean, BBQ, views of nature and sheeps of course. But I wondered why they were not built closer to the lake, could be much prettier 😊. I highly recommend this place when exploring the golden circle. As black coffee lover I appreciate the host putting extra pods in the pantry 👌

The cottage was sooo nice! It was like being in a tiny house. Clean, modern,warm and inviting with so much privacy. Lots of sheep out front. Had WiFi and TV with Netflix. Kitchenette was well equipped and there was a grill if you wanted to barbecue.

Property was great, wish you would’ve planned ahead and use the barbecue.

The unit was perfect. Good bed, great shower, and just the right amount of cooking utensils and equipment. Blackout sheets were very helpful since there were only a couple hours of darkness. So much fun to watch the sheep come up in the evening.

Nothing, it is a great place to stay!!

The property was in an excellent location to explore the Golden Circle. It is near a local supermarket and petrol station, which is helpful. The views in front and behind the cottage are beautiful. Our hosts contacted us in the lead up to our stay and there was information available for us to refer to inside the cottage. The facilities were in good condition, and we liked the decor.
