A bit of a walk from the main bus terminal with luggage. Signage subtle but directly opposite street light walkway is the entrance.

Great for a solo traveller for a night with limited street noise. Comfortable bed and shared bathroom perfect. Communal kitchen available with great coffee!

I chose the room with a private bathroom. The bathroom door is hard to open and close because of the swollen parquet.

It is a 10-minute walk from the church, and from there the main street in the city center begins. The room is spacious with a balcony. A nice and comfortable room with an equipped kitchen for those who want to cook and a dining area.

There were no hosts available on site, we had questions about the coffee machine and no one to help. Luckily another couple also staying at the guesthouse thought to YouTube the issue. Our breakfast albeit a cute delivery was not at all what we thought it would be, a bag of bread and croissants (with apple juice, butter, marmalade and some cheese slices)

The property was perfect for two travellers, the beds were really comfortable. Directions could have been clearer.

Key code only activates at 2PM check-in time. If you arrive on an early flight, you won’t necessarily be able to leave your luggage. Room has no surface area (except window ledge). Luggage on the floor. Given the room price, fairly spartan.

Very clean guesthouse, functional room, comfortable bed. Sufficient breakfast of juice, croissant, roll with cheese slice, apple. Convenient location for walking to Old Town and the bus station.

Shared kitchen, no clean glasses and cups were left after other guests used them all and left dirty in the dishwasher, sink was dirty with food waste

Location is very practical, although not at the very center, it is a 10-15 minutes walk to the church and the main bus terminal which is very convenient for airport transfer and tour pickups. The house is located on a main roadside so there was a little traffic noise but it was very convenient for drop offs, you can literally get off from the tour bus in front of the house. Shared bathroom was always super clean, I haven’t seen any one using it. Room was very cozy and warm.

The water from the taps/shower come out smelling like sulfur but that is probably par for the course in Iceland!

I was most nervous to have a shared bathroom but it was super clean! The rooms come with sinks to help ease the burden of the shared bathroom as well. My room was facing a main road so there was a bit of noise from passing traffic but I didn't mind it. Very cosy lighting and kept comfortably warm even in December. The location is really excellent, 10-15 minute walk to the main bus terminal, the Hallgrimskirkja church (bus stop #8), and bus stop #12 for tour pickups.

A little confusing to find guesthouse via car because Google takes you to the front where there wasn’t space to stop/park to drop off our things. Towels could use replacing.

Nice, comfortable room. Decent bathroom with large shower. Easy check in. Appreciated shared kitchen and made use of free parking spots behind guesthouse. Easy access to Reykjavik.

There was no signage outside other than the street number. Would have felt welcoming to see a sign with the name of the guesthouse from the street.

Very cozy little room and centrally located - it’s a short walk to Bus Stop 8 Hallgrimskirkja which is the closest pick up/drop off spot for most excursions. Safe location for late night walking - when I booked it, I was concerned about walking from the bus stop to the guesthouse after a late night excursion, and it was fine - a short well lit walk from the bus stop to the guest house on a major road. The room had a sink, which I didn’t expect. The bed was comfortable and the room was nice and warm. Also there were some breakfast items (tea, coffee, granola, cereal etc), which I didn’t expect. I had picked up some oat milk and bananas and with what was there had a snack on arrival and breakfast in the morning. All in, it was a great stay.

Definitely need ear plugs, outside traffic plus walls are thin, I did sleep very well with them in

The surprise free breakfast, excellent coffee. Liked the use of the kitchen and dining room which was spacious. Easy walking distance to town with good parking. Room small but comfortable.
