On arrival, had difficulty unlocking the door - a neighbouring visitor showed us how. A bit out of the way and didn’t enjoy driving on the gravel road. Good shower but bathroom was a bit small - would have liked more counter space and hooks to hang things. The bedroom with the one large bed was a bit cramped.

Beautiful property with mountain view. Enjoyed the peaceful countryside, complete with sheep! Very well equipped for making our own meals. Lots of central living space and a nice deck. Very comfortable beds. Blackout curtains were much appreciated. Liked being able to separate the 2 twin beds.

Location - off the main road, but once you understand the quality you won't mind the drive.

The house is well desined and very well equipted. The atmosphare is warm and inviting.

The bathroom was a little small.

It is located in a remote area, but worth it. We were 3 adults, in a 2 bedroom cabin Very well equipped. Very nice. Comfortable beds. Excellent heating that could be easily turned of, if needed. Good directions from the host to check in. we recommend !!

The only thing is the location. It is not ideally located as one has to drive over country road without asphalt for quite some time. It is doable with a regular car, but takes long. If you have limited time and are looking for a place close to the ring road this is not ideal. If you want to be far away from civilization to enjoy the peaceful countryside, it is perfect.

Very quiet location with super clean and extensive facilities. The place itself was actually perfect. It was also great how flexible the host was with our arrival time, making good use of key-box facilities.

Amazing place with amazing views. Nice farm stay type property. We anticipated it would be a drive from Vik/closet groceries/restaurant, so stocked up. Kitchen was nice and pictures of the views are real. Excellent location to drive to the glaciers. The road is partially paved/rocky in some places. Overall amazing stat

Remoteness people need to know you are 20K on a gravel road and 45 mins from Vik need to let people know that groceries should be purchased prior to leaving VIK. Cottage 2 was ok but right next to the main house not my choice if we return. Cottages 3-6 much better and great views and better privacy. Nit sure why we could not stay in thoses as we were the only people on the property.

Place was clean It is remote which was not clearly noted in the ad. We were told we were getting the last place a full house as all other properties were taken. Well, that was not true. During are stay not another soul was on the property. We stayed in Bldg. 2 not the main house. It was nice but would have loved to stay in in cottages 3-6 better views and more private a shame.

We were taken back by the pristine cleanliness of the place, how well equipped the kitchen were. Spotless toilets, very cozy home and environment, comfortable beds/pillows/mattresses, sofa bed that opens up to a proper mattress all make this place a very comforting rest for the night. There's a 15 minutes gravel road to drive there which was wide, pothole-free, and no traffic in any direction making it very easy and quick drive to the place. It is in a middle of a wide open plain field which means perfect location free of light pollution. I can't find a thing to be at fault with the place. Internet speed wasn't the fastest but more than adequate for YouTube and browsing the web. No complains though.

For the price and the remote location, I probably would have expected a bit more privacy. The cabins are all closely lined up next to each other and each bedroom looks directly into the bedroom of another cabin. Our neighbours left their lights on all night which made it hard to sleep and I imagine would’ve made it difficult to see northern lights if they were out.

Lovely cabins that have been thoughtfully designed with everything you could need for your stay. Ingi was lovely and very accomodating. The cat was adorable too and gave us lots of cuddles!

Very clean and cute accomdation. We loved the cat and the farm was very pleasant. A little further off the main road, but it was worth the trip. A great place to view the lights although it did rain on our visit.
