Wow! Amazing place! Both in terms of the view and the owner. The rooms are very clean, everyone is very nice. Although there is no breakfast included here, every morning the owner comes and makes everyone a very delicious Belgian waffle with coffee/tea Highly recommend (:

We ran out of hot water in the evening but had hot water again in the morning.

Loved the quaint guesthouse vibe with shared kitchen and dining area. Really quiet place and likely wonderful place to see northern lights when the skies are clear.

Occasionally hot water was a problem when large groups were accommodated.

Location was well suited for our itinerary. Coffee and waffles was served in the morning. Host was very helpful with suggestions for day trips.

Place is amazing, stunning view. Facilities are new, well equipped and maintained. Staff is very friendly. Free breakfast with coffee, milk, tea, cereal, oats and freshly baked delicious waffles.

There was not enough hot water on two nights. Also, there was a large group staying with their own cook and it was very difficult to use the kitchen. If you arrive after the group, there will be no hot water.

It’s a hidden gem, the room was big and very clean. Waffles with home made rhubarb jam, of course, do their magic too.

It is the most beautiful countryside to stay in Iceland , you disconnect yourself from all unnecessary thoughts and connect to nature . The owners are so kind and helpful , the please looks amazing. It is a place you want to stay long term !

I can’t really think of anything we didn’t like. Not a ton of rooms so book 9 months-a year in advance. Fantastic!

This place is a steal of a deal for Iceland! You can’t ask for better prices for an updated room and bathroom, cleanliness, quiet and even waffles 🧇 every morning in the shape of hearts. The owners were wonderful and friendly. Nice middle location between Reykjavik and Vik to take in all the sites. Wish we had more time here.

We had such a fantastic experience staying here! The location was perfect, with a beautiful view that made our mornings and evenings extra special. The place was spotlessly clean and had everything we needed for a comfortable and relaxing stay. The bed was super comfy, and the shower had great water pressure—perfect after a long day of exploring. One of the highlights was the delicious breakfast—the waffles and milk were absolutely amazing and such a thoughtful touch! Our host was incredibly friendly and welcoming, which made the whole experience even better. We couldn’t have asked for a better place to stay and would definitely come back again!

Some families were crowded, making the dining room noisy and the kitchen messy. But it was not the host’s fault. And Fortunately the room was not affected.

A warm house in a quiet and beautiful area. Delicious waffle for breakfast. The location is not ideal for visiting the south coast but still acceptable.
