  • The Vík Inn by Ourhotels Review score: 8.1

“Good location in Vik, a short walk to multiple restaurants, a local brewpub, lava show and the black sand beach. A short drive to even more restaurants and cafés and a small shopping centre with a supermarket. Hotel looks modern and well maintained inside. Some basic complimentary stuff was provided like eye mask and earplugs. Room was warm and bed was comfortable. Self check-in is possible, no keys needed. Very good quality of soap and tea (Yogi brand).”

  • The Barn Review score: 8.6

“The commen kitchen was good. But shared bathroom though ok was too crowdy due to the facility lodging too many guests”

  • Hótel Dyrhólaey Review score: 8.2

“Located on a hill a short drive from both Dyrholaey and Reynisfjara, with the town of Vik just a little further down the coast. The hotel is nestled between farms and other guest houses. Great panoramic views of the coast and surrounding countryside. Both breakfast and dinner are buffet style with a good and varied selection, eaten in the large dining room with panoramic views. Rooms are of a good size, well appointed, and with comfortable beds. Staff are friendly and and attentive.”
